My coworker is from sri lanka, he also stated that Sri Lankans are blocked from accessing any social media.

This is super fishy. almost reminiscent of 9/11 with the prior knowledge of the attacks and not doing anything about it.

The other day in Iran a group of young men were chanting death to America in the streets of Iran in a group of 1,000s

5 of these young men were visiting family while living in the u.s going to college on some special foreign visa.

They chant death to America. and then when at American colleges they act pompous.
