These PC hollyweird bastards had to make a remake of the twilight zone tv series. Complete crap after watching 2 episodes. the acting , the casting, the pc dribble its like watching a train wreck.

Surprised it hadn't been posted here yet. Anyone else watched it?

Media rarely gets better with successive iterations.

There is no talent left in any area of media, which is one reason so many people have cut the cord and gone to cherry-picking what they watch and listen to.

I have seen it was coming on but am not going to watch it..................There can be only one !!!

I haven’t seen it but I suspect it’s a lot like The X-Files remake.

I really looked forward to that but couldn’t make it past three episodes because of all the anti-Trump political messaging .

Agreed but unfortunately its likely going to take us all down by that time.

The funny thing of watching the horrendous remake was that it felt like i was in a twighlight zone myself watching that crap.

I made it about 10 min into the first episode and quit, the anti 2nd message and the acting just turned me right off.

Back to watching 1960's reruns.

I learn there's a Twighlight Zone remake, something i'd actually be interested in watching, and in the same thread i learn it's the same as all the other piles of trash i don't watch.

I didn't think television and movies couldn't get any worse.

Turns out it can.

I had no interest in watching TZ before, and now i especially don't.

If I want to watch propaganda. I'd watch CNN or MSNBC.

The only thing I watch on TV now is PBS - "Masterpiece", "American Experience", "NOVA", "Nature", "Frontline".

Was really as pumped as I get about a TV show, they had a great opportunity to make a great series but you can tell Jordan Peele fell victim to make it SJW friendly. Beyond that each episode is worse than the one before, the first two had actors I generally like but I was dozing 10 minutes in. LOL it's almost apropos when Peele comes on ala Rod Serling cause it makes you think its a comedy... lets hope they just had to get it out of their system and the rest will get better. LOL or maybe Micheal Key will make an appearance as a substitute teacher

I could see most old men, stuck in their old man ways, not enjoying it.

Very enjoyable stories, a very welcome edition.

This is the third reboot of the series.

1985, 2002 and this one.

The 1985 was not to terrible but they just remade some of the older stories if I remember correctly.

I don't even remember the 2002 version.

For some reason I doubt I'll remember this one either.

Well considering the showrunner is openly against the idea of hiring white people I'm actually surprised the show isn't more PC than it could be. Don't get me wrong most of the original series had a lot of episodes that taught you a lesson in some way but it was always entertaining and enjoyable I just think more shows are going to start pushing the PC idea. Jordan Peele has said that he doesn't see himself hiring white people because "he has seen that movie" whatever that's supposed to mean. You only have to look to the recent Marvel film "Captain Marvel" and the lead saying acting like she and Wonder Woman are the first films in history to ever be successful and have a female lead, much the same way the majority of left leaning people acted like Black Panther was the first ever film to have black leads or an all black cast. I try to ignore it at this point.
