These were slightly to the side, they give a little better look at the gear doors, and side windscreen.

You do know there are 1/72 diecast metal models for it….made by Calibre Wings.

But I digress from the thread topic.

It almost looks like a divertless intake, which would be very interesting.

Maybe it's part of the exhaust gas cooling system

I live about 90 miles from Dyess AFB, and right next to one of their "targets". See the B-1's coming over about 4 times a week. B-52's ( not Dyess based) about twice a month. It was up today. Looking forward to seeing this new bird come over.

Does that mean it could be supersonic or what does that indicate?

So I looked up the definition of aeroSPACE.haha.Fine Ill buy Your OS. I won't mention Edawrds is uhh an aeroSPACE command, which I made sure of before I asked, as You seem to know birds. First thing, or among the first thing I noticed was not many rivets to count. I would have no problem staying awake to watch over this one..At first I thought whatever rehash 117, but after a bit, these renderings definitely sparked the imagination..If I knew it was just ATS people I would post a picture of what I believe would be the perfect nose art for this piece..You ever met someone that reminded you of the baddest jet? And that's how You remember them..This thread was a dumb idea..later, tx for the help..

I won't delete it..

Flying wings don’t do supersonic. They tend to try to tuck once you get close to mach 1. A diverterless (sorry, late night typo earlier) inlet creates a boundary layer control around the intake, and moves the boundary layer, which is usually very turbulent, away from the engine.

Those windows look more artistic than functional. Something tells me they’re mostly for show.

It probably has a few tricks for synthetic vision, but the side windows especially are all about RCS.

Did anyone pick up on the hints that Austin left during his remarks? Definitely interesting.

She's a lovely looking aircraft from whats been shown so far.
I do love the close in snipped shots as the angle makes it look very "flying saucer" shaped.

Couple things that caught my attention. I wonder what weapons haven't been invented yet? 🤔

Ful l transcript of his remarks here.

Are antimatter weapons for real then?

I love the clean, seamless lines and the white color scheme. Very Tacit Blue, very 1980s. It feels like taking a look at whatever the B-2's Have Blue was on the ramps at Groom Lake sometime circa 1981-84.
