The ruling party spied on their political opponents. This is bigger than Watergate.
I believe you could find that sentiment in posts here as early as 2016.
Lots were on the ball here early.

Bet it burns them up that trump outlasted them.
Not only did he beat "her", he beat them as well.
Steady now.
It's early days yet.
yes but having a sitting ag state that the former admin was spying on its political rivals is humongous
legal or otherwise.
when else in history has this been acknowledged by the highest leo in the land?

Huh ... I seem to recall how Trump said he was spied on and everyone laughed at him. I wonder if that's one of those "Dumb Lies Trump Told ..."

Yes, and interestingly enough, James Baker testimony just released
contradicts Rod Rosenstein's claim the the 25th amendment and wire
wearing tactic discussed was not a joke.
lawandcrime.com...
I'm still wondering about RR....

Something else that's interesting ... And may be investigated.
When Trump fired Comey which is the basis most use for their obstruction of justice complaints, didn't he do so using a letter written by Rosenstein which recommended such a move as part of his reasoning? And wasn't it Rosenstein who was caught up then in the wearing a wire and 25th Amendment capers?
So doesn't that start to look like an internal setup on Rosenstein's part either with or without Comey's complicity?
1. Write a letter recommending Comey's removal.
2. Start agitating for obstruction based on the removal you helped recommend?

And now from the Washington Compost, demands that Barr
be impeached. This is going to be fun, the Dims wont know
which way to go soon, and will end up chasing their tails.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Wednesday she doesn’t trust Attorney General William Barr and suggested his statements alleging President Donald Trump’s campaign was spied on undermine Barr’s independence as the nation’s top law enforcement officer.
