Candice Owens on 'White Nationalism and Reparations"

I don't think I've ever heard a person of color shoot so straight from the hip about racism. I think she nailed it as to how many of us feel and see racism today. The look on the Democrats faces in the room was priceless as she tore their race card narrative into shreds. Many in the room looked somewhat pissed that she was speaking the truth that they've worked so hard to spin into a false narrative.

I certainly gained a lot of respect for her just watching the video. She should definitely have a seat in congress IMO.

I've long been impressed by her. Very intelligent young lady.

Democrats, especially black democrats, hate her with a passion because she, as a black woman, can call them out on their racism. I think she's amazing.

Yes, she is a very smart girl. I don't start threads very often but after watching the vid, I felt it was something that needed to be shared with as many as possible. A Black Democrat showing the upmost respect and support for our elected President was refreshing to hear. She certainly gets it.

Damn, that reminded me of "The Talk" my momma gave me when I put a cat in a mailbox. I wanted to crawl in a hole...same as those board members i bet.

She is as trash as those on the Left, or those "white savior liberals" just because she is black and says Democrats are the real racist doesn't make her correct

there is a lot to unpack here, and many depths to get into, so on a surface level here are some facts

1. Left-Right-Centre ANYONE CAN BE RACIST political party has nothing to do with it, though all political parties love to play the morality card, and the "other side is the real racist" the fact remains that anyone can be racists

2. people pretending that white-nationalism doesn't exist is just trying to appease their guilt, or the fact that the "other side" has something to fight against, for many of the fragile whites, if you are not a white-nationalism or don't have white-nationalist ideology, you have nothing to be afraid of and should denounce the actual white-nationalists, instead of defending them and saying everything is deep-state Soros

3. the "right" plays just as many identity politics as the "left" does

4. White nationalists and Nazis are not the same things, for that matter Nazism ( national-socialism) and fascism are not exactly the same thing, the left has this problem with using the same words for everything, and believing it means the same thing, mostly due to to the fact that if they really researched it, they would see that Neo-liberalism has many cross-over ideologies and that the Left is heavily Nationalistic

5. White-nationalism, racism, Nazism, they all exist here in America, that doesn't mean that "everyone is x" but that means that it does exist, anyone trying to say they don't or make excuses for them by saying "but the other side" and "Antifa re the real fascists" are straight-up apologist cowards


there is much more, and this requires a more in-depth discussion, but wanted to get some of those points out there

Now that I've had time to watch the video, HOLY SMOKES! Dude, she shredded the left's narrative, they were squirming in their chairs. And what can they say? They can't refute anything she told them and they know it. She dropped an atom bomb in there.

Yep, second that. And there wasn't a word they could say to her because they knew she was right. Especially about white nationalism and what it was in her grandpa's young days, plus nothing from the media when she was shouted down and had eggs and water thrown on her while the media remained silent. That was a knife under their rib cage right there.

Yep, It's pretty hard to refute brutal honesty.

Been following her for a while now, she is really pushing for #Blexit and it's glorious.

Seriously, after hearing her fiery and passionate rebuttal and corrections to both Jerry and Ted, she has even more of my support, young and not afraid, she is exactly what we need to combat the ignorance of some congress members and its freshman.

Weren't they just calling her a slave prop a couple of weeks ago? Man, liberals are beyond uncouth. Absolutely repulsive.

I love how she didn't back down from Nadler trying to cut her off and misrepresenting what she was saying... she knew what plays there were going to try going in. Congressman Lieu was straight up dunked on... dude got posterized.
