In the comics Logan/ Weapons X/ Wolverine is all of 5 foot 3 inches (5’3”).

Many of us cannot picture a replacement to Hugh Jackman’s take on the character. He has done a phenomenal job as the character over the X-men series. I believe he is the only character to have been played by only one actor. Hugh stands at 6’2” tall. A far cry from the shorter hero of the comics.

As marvel (Disney) has re-absorbed the properties previously sold to Fox, it is assumed there will be recasting and inclusion into the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe).

I had a thought driving home from work that Danial Radcliffe (remembering he was less than average height) might be able to physically embody the character-- with an obvious workout regimen before filming.
But not to extreme: i.imgur.com...

Looking this over on the internet I'm not the first to have this thought.

What are your thoughts on who should play Wolverine in the MCU?

Hugh supposedly wanted Tom Hardy to pick up the role and I would have to agree. I didn’t care for the Venom movie, but I can see him as Wolverine.

So the same cheekbones as Hugh and viola "Wolverine" persists?

I think she may do better in movies than she does in her current occupation.

Peter Dinklage is already in the MCU. He does have some amazing acting skills.

He is too tall. That's the big issue.
Agreed he could play the part.

No a stature of under 5' 5" and an actor that could have the stamina to be there for 20 years before it becomes a difficulty.
You do you about cheekbones.

As someone who used to collect Wolverine.
I always thought hugh Jackman was a miscast.
the roll was never played
like the actual character.

Is it a problem that he has played so many other comic book characters? Wasn't he Bane as well?

Her current occupation IS acting. Look up AOC casting call.

I cant stand this trend of cgi super hero movies or hollywood in general. Just like modern music, modern 'art'.

They'd have to do some serious work with Radcliffe. He has always had a mild case of dyspraxia, so there would be a lot of stunk casting work.

Height's not too much of an issue. Look how they made Sylvester Stallone look like he was tall in Rocky movies.
