This question is hurting my head...

I always thought civil war is a right, the right for every state/country/planet to conduct its affairs without outside interference.

The non-intervention rule is a principle of international law that restricts the ability of outside nations to interfere with the internal affairs of another nation (I guess planets belong to this aswell). At its core, the principle is a corollary to the right of territorial sovereignty possessed by each nation.

"Humanitarian" assistance could be provided unless it's non-discriminatory.

Unless they have oil...in that case we should destroy anybody who doesn't allow us to "help" establish a new government of our choosing.
