KOMO News: Seattle is Dying

KOMO news in Seattle recently released an investigative journalism story about how bad Seattle has become. The crime rates are staggering!

They found that the top 100 homeless repeat offenders average 36 criminal arrests. Police respond anonymously to surveys and what they say is insane.

This is amazing to watch. I knew it was bad but this is just plain crazy. Yes, It is an hour long but it will open your eyes to what is going on.

Another liberal Utopia falls. Weird how you can't do drugs, drink 5 dollar coffee all day, and not have jobs. Why doesn't the local government just give them a basic standard income for nothing?

This wasn't unexpected, NOT! Isn't this one of the antifa "home" cities? We are provably going to see a lot of liberal failures in the next couple of months. Remember, by any means necessary and this has been in the works for a while.

The city council doesn't seem interested in what the people have to say either. Hear that sigh around :56 or :57! This is from earlier this month.

Well, when you see how the Seattle City Council treats a polite, older man, wanting to give a public statement on March 11, you'll why Seattle is in such disarray. Take notice on the condescending tone of the councilwoman and how every council member seems more interested in looking at their cell, than the meeting itself.

I mentioned earlier on a few of my threads that the more you do for someone the less they appreciate it.
In a way after watching the video, the politicians have agreed with me. Don't help them, but help the general population, that is if it isn't too late.
It's sad to see America falling apart at it seams of humanity. Just terrible.
You can't let the mentally roam free, once they find a leader, then they will start destroying the cities, that my ATS friends here is the truth. Currently they destroying the surface of the cities, but with a leader they will start destroying the city and how can you punish them, you can't . Only to put them on an island and give them natural food/animals to survive on. Sorry, but if you ask any gang leader, they will tell you, you can't mess with a hungry crazy man, only take them down.

So yes, soon it will be time again for the basement rats to scuttle out, throw on a mask and beat the #$%#$ out of old white guys because it's anti-fascist.

Perhaps some of their citizenry will wake up and vote in some non-Progressives before it is too late.

I'm really not surprised. I heard about this story a few days ago, but it got out shined by the fact that one of the city council members is taking money from California and New York for her campaign financing instead of getting it for the people in her district. Her style of politics is disruptive at best, and destructive at worse.

I live near Portland and it is as bad or worst, major companies are leaving. Macy's left downtown due to the homeless problems. Portland like Seattle said we love homeless and so they come, but the cities do not provide the infrastructure to take care of them, even port-a-poties would help, but there is none and business have all comboed their bathrooms, so where are people to get proper hygienic care support?

Far left progressives are digging in their heels and their big city utopias are failing spectacularly.

Conservatives in rural America are doing the same and their communities are crumbling as well and being left behind as the world moves into a new age.

How much more obvious can it be?

We need to start coming together to find some middle ground. Neither temperament, whether left or right, can stand on their own.

You are absolutely right, however those whom have been suckered into blaming the other side for the problems we all face will never concede and this will keep perpetuating until something breaks.

Just look at the first reply, blaming liberals, that shows just how far gone some people are.

I kind of find it interesting that a possible solution appears to be turn jail into a quasi asylum and medicate people. While it can work, the big question is how long before the decay sets in which has always occurred in those facilities.

You clearly either live there and are in denial, or haven't been there and just like to think of how Seattle is portrayed in movies. It's not "Sleepless in Seattle", it's becoming more like New York City form "Soylent Green". You have the haves that live in houses and high-rises, and the have-nots that live off of whatever they get handed. Hell the Mayor has put forward a massive recruitment program to pay new cops 100k because they can't get anyone to "Serve and Protect" that city. So sure hotties whatever and the people love it. Sure.

Yeah I live in Spokane and we’ve been seeing the fallout from this for a couple years now. People have been moving over here to escape what Seattle has become.

One guy that works with my wife moved here from Seattle, he acts like his every interaction with the people around him is a favor to them. He treats us like simpletons and constantly brings up how different it was in Seattle and you can just tell he thinks he’s better than everyone here.

Once he found out that pretty much everyone around him were more right and center, then left politically, he tried to present himself as that too.

My sister raises pigs every year and my wife asked people around the office if they were interested in going in on a pig. He acted grossed out and surprised this was a thing that people did. But once he found out that it was a respected practice he decided to get some chickens.

Guys never had any livestock of any kind and he went out and got himself 20 chickens in the middle of winter. A week later later he complains to coworkers that the chickens are “messy” and a couple weeks later all the chickens are dead for one reason or another.

I’ve got a couple story’s about that guy and none of them are flattering, he’s wasteful, arrogant, and condescending.

I know I shouldn’t judge the whole city because of him, we’ve actually got some family friends over there that are great people. But I’d have to imagine city’s like that are breeding grounds for people like him.
