CNN Host Silent After Muslim Doctor States Trump Is Beloved In Muslim World

It's always great when a CNN guest totally blindsides the host, who thinks the guest is going to support their talking point, in this case, that Trump is Islamophobic. After all, that seems to be the catch phrase of the day, which is being said on MSM and by celebrities in Hollyweird, after the horrific shooting in New Zealand. Every Trump supporter knew that he was going to be blamed for that shooting, because unfortunately, most everyone on the Left thinks he and his supporters are racist, Islamophobic white supremacists.

Imagine what was going on in the mind of CNN host, Fredericka Whitfield, when her guest, Dr. Qanta Ahmed, a Muslim physician from Great Britain, insisted that Trump, "is beloved in many parts of the Muslim world." Dr. Ahmed, who is also a columnist and author, mentions that Trump needs to condemn global white supremacy, but states that "she was pleased with Trump’s very categorical condemnation of the events in New Zealand." Instead of disputing what the Doctor said, CNN host Fredericka Whitfield ends the interview. I think Dr. Ahmed hit the "proverbial nail on the head," with her comments.

“One thing the viewers should know, this president and this administration is often castigated as Islamophobic, but I move in the Muslim word, in Egypt, in Oman, in Jordan, in Iraqi Kurdistan, where this president is beloved. This president and the Republican Party going back to George Bush is very dearly held. Today is the anniversary of Halabja, the massacre of 180,000 Kurds at the hands of Saddam Hussein. That only change would [be] because of a Republican president. So it is very important not to lose so much perspective that we start believing our entire government is Islamophobic. That is not the case.”

“I did see his very categorical condemnation of the events in New Zealand and that was gratifying. And I also feel that he needs to do the same about white supremacy, not only the United States, but globally. There is nothing — the president has no responsibility if a fanatic mentions him in a manifesto. A fanatic could equally mention me. So I don't think that is his responsibility. But, yes, I would like to see President Trump condemn all forms of lethal bigotry.”

I have no love for the Saudis and their ilk, but I think it's better to be respected by them than thought of as a joke by the Iranians like Obama was.

It’s always very amusing to watch and savor the reactions of true believers...as their world view is challenged and shattered...they always...always...stammer on mindlessly due to their programming...especially in the face of overwhelming evidence that runs counter to their indoctrination...

Obama was definitely not loved by Muslims. He ignored his generals concerns about helping the Iraq government out to fight the radical Islamic groups that tried to seize and enslave the Iraq citizens, killing many that did not bow down to them.

I am not Muslim but I did not like what Obama did with that, in fact many of his generals were fired because they insisted we must help Iraq people to fight off the Radicals. Sure, we finally did go back in, but only after a lot of people suffered and died. We weakened the country with the war and we should have not abandoned them when their leader stated that they were now ready to go on their own and they could probably handle it, later he asked for Obama to help and Obama refused.

I do not approve of Obama's actions with that, anyone should be able to see that he allowed the destruction of many Muslims because their leader would not bow down to Obama. If Hillary would have won, the same ignorance would have continued. Just because Obama has some Muslim blood in him does not mean he had the right to abandon the Iraq people.

His plan was to have a proxy war in Syria and topple Assad. Armed the rebels and lots of drone strikes and was too scared to fix it when he started a power vacuum when we left Iraq. Not the hope and change I wanted

In my part of the world (to the north of the EU Reich) folks are fairly neutral towards President Trump; yes he's viewed as being bold and brassy, but he certainly not thought of as a "joke".

The main talking point - the real "joke", as 'twere - in educated and enlightened circles tends to be his rough treatment by the mainstream media outlets, which is confusing to many.
