I'm not upset. I'm just pointing out that people give Trump way to much credit as this beacon of light for the "american dream", like he worked hard to get to where he is. No he just has some sort of strange charisma which I guess is some sort of social feat of strength, since he is the POTUS now. But as a business man, he was terrible at it compared to people in his league.
I guess in your mind no one who received a business loan worked hard to get where they are.

Success to me isn't about money or wealth, I dragged my ass from tens of thousands of dollars in debt to where I am now. And I'm happy with my current position. But my hard work will never give me the chance to see a million dollar pay out, or give me the hands, eyes and ears of advice from the rich and powerful. My hard work is what I wanted out of life.

Good for you. But why were you in tens of thousands of dollars in debt? I guess if that's how you want to measure success, then by all means. People don't just want hard work in life, but they do want something. Just sounds like you're placating yourself.

People give their advice all the time. That advice comes in the form of...books.

Give me a million dollars and a rich dad with hundreds of powerful connections to start off an I get back to you.

Many people experience that, even if its to a lesser degree. Many generational businesses exist, with the money, clientele, and contacts that come with it. You just seem upset because it was a million. boo hoo.

Um. Many people don't experience that. Especially when you realize that the 1 million Trump got then would be equivalent to over 7 million today. And then to also be supplied with a bunch of other dirty tricksters (bankers, mobsters, etc.), an entire business network, a "job", a slew of 1% corporatocracy buddies, and sketchy lawyers to make sure you aren't touched and you always will have money behind you... sorry, "many" people don't go through life that way. Thankfully. As if we need more morally bankrupt masses (i.e. the swamp).

I did say to a lesser degree, didn't I? I did. You even quoted it.

You can get a business loan, or receive an inheritance.
You can choose to start a business, invent a product, or invest in a startup and hope they become the next hot thing.

You can make friends with other people in your field, you can draw upon mentors, you can gain their wisdom.
You can hire an accountant.
You can hire a lawyer.

Or not, and spend it all on hookers and blow.

I just laid out how you can be like Trump, to a lesser degree. All that other stuff? Surely Mueller would have found it by now?

You're missing the point.

The loan is more of a side factor. It's who Trumps family was affiliated with and connections he had were the major factor. The rich mingle with the rich.

It's easy for you to type or say that. But many people go through life 'catching up'.

Once again, Trump born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and simply asked daddy for money, did he have to go through working part time during college? Did he have to pay off student debt? Did he have to finance a car, or mortgage a house? Did he have to actually budget for food, rent / mortgage payments, gas, bills, etc, etc?
I highly doubt it. Some people go through life not even knowing what a holiday is, all because they were born into poverty or made ONE mistake. Seems like Trump can make several and just shrug his shoulders "oops".

Nah, its only a factor for you. Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos also got money from their dads. I wonder how many people they've been affiliated with prior to that.

So this IS just all about you and your situation then.

Thanks for clearing that up.

My life story makes me think that you should probably apply yourself, learn how to save money and start getting somewhere in life as opposed to whining about someone that has money that you have been told not to like.

The American Dream is actually out there.

But you have to work for it and become self-reliant.

Most people can't do that anymore.

Which is a shame... it's right there in front of you.

Its called gumption. Trump or not, many people these days lack it. And I say that while "playing catch up" myself. I too have lacked it at times. They have also been conned by the "live in the now!" and "live beyond your means!" mentalities. Which is where many mistakes are made. But I am not going to blame anyone else for the decisions I've made. What I am going to do is better myself each day. And continue to play the stock market for an early retirement.

Um, the National Debt is already $22TRILLION.

www.usdebtclock.org...

And to the others, if the MSM brings up a glaring example of brazen hypocrisy, one that is an ultimate detriment to the future of our nation no less, that means we put our blinders on and call it propaganda?

And you all do realize that Propaganda inst inherently untrue, its merely persuasion (and or diversion), which 'prefers' to be true actually.

Bejeezus christ yo's.

Yet you overlook that Trump gained wealth over the period of his life.
Took one million and turned it into a fortune.

Most people don't. that's why we see the push for free everything. But in that system, if you get too successful, you get to be a provider instead of a taker. Belgium taxes 50% if you make €38,000 or more! But for some reason, the effective corporate tax rate is much lower. Hmmmmmmm.

Nooooo. People did that for him. Didn't you get the memo? He's not allowed to make money the way so many other people do.

you still think it was just a million.. that's cute. it was WAY more than that, possibly 300 million. lol

he lied to you about that, too, but you won't care.

And you are a man, and you've been lying to us all.
Proof dear. Know what that is? Lets see it. Or are you still waiting for Mueller to provide it.
