Came across this short vid of a giant Anaconda.

It almost looks like a dam in the river.

Not sure about the 15 meters..

But a nice one:

That was a huge predator! Those chaps really pushed for it. I would not have dared to follow that beast, not even close as these chaps, but steered my course a whole different direction!

That a big damn snake but 15 meters is about 50 feet.
I don't think it's that big and you can't tell without something for scale in the picture.

And who the hell would get that close to it if it was 50 feet?
A human would be a nice snack.

I vaguely remember there was a reward for a snake over 10 meters ?

Although letting him live and free is better of course.

Edit:

This could be the biggest snake recorded in history.
Wikipedia longest snakes

And i found the thing about the reward

It is important to be aware that there is considerable variation in the maximum reported size of these species, and most measurements are not truly verifiable, so the sizes listed should not be considered definitive. In general, the reported lengths are likely to be somewhat overestimated.[6] In spite of what has been, for many years, a standing offer of a large financial reward (initially $1,000 offered by U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt in the early 1900s,[7] later raised to $5,000, then $15,000 in 1978 and $50,000 in 1980) for a live, healthy snake over 30 ft (9.1 m) long by the New York Zoological Society (later renamed as the Wildlife Conservation Society), no attempt to claim the reward has ever been made.[2]

Although it is generally accepted that the reticulated python is the world's longest living snake, most length estimates longer than 6.35 m (20 ft 10 in) have been called into question.[6] It has been suggested that confident length records for the largest snakes must be established from a dead body soon after death, or alternatively from a heavily sedated snake, using a steel tape and in the presence of witnesses, and must be published (and preferably recorded on video).[6] At least one reticulated python was measured under full anesthesia at 6.95 m (22 ft 10 in), and somewhat less reliable scientific reports up to 10 m (33 ft) have appeared.[8]

That doesn't look anywhere near 15 meters long. You can see a road that leads up there that you can use for reference.

We don't have to worry about fifteen meter anacondas here, we measure in feet and inches not meters

The disco music adds another 5-10 feet to that snake.

Maybe it was filmed in the 70's? Anacondas were bigger back then

A whole lotta nopes. But, it’s not a river, it’s a road. It is a bit of an illusion because it is a big snake and you can tell it’s heavy and has some meat to it so it’s slower moving.

That's quite a few pairs of boots' worth of snake right there.

I tried to watch it..and made it through about 10 seconds. Star and flag for unknowingly helping me to overcome my fears!

I moved to a state that has only one type of snake in it because I dislike them so much.

15 meters..nope. I did try though...

Thanks!

That's a big'un all right, but I doubt it's fifteen meters long.

The biggest snake on record was accidentally killed at a construction site, that was eleven meters long and had to be folded in half to fit on the back of a tow truck!

Maybe there is a record breaker out there, but I'm not going to track it down-i choose life.

Worth a watch just for the porn music in the background.
