But to address your point, at least the racist example above was generally untrue. The reason we are calling some on the left Nazis is because they are acting in the exact same manner the Nazis of the Third Reight acted:

• They attempt to make it illegal to disagree with them.
  
• They dehumanize and demonize those who disagree with them.
  
• They are now resorting to unprovoked violence against those who disagree with them.

Those are actions and attitudes found in pre-WWII Germany under the National Socialist Party (aka "Nazi Party"). Don't like being called a Nazi? Stop acting like a Nazi!

Nope, hasn't happened... yet. It has happened to a few people on this site and to a few friends. Me, I tend to stay out of areas where the two-legged beasts roam as much as I can. No sense starting something they can't finish.

I've read your posts on this thread, and you seem to have taken the rather extreme position that all Nazi's were perpetrators of the Holocaust, and ONLY the Holocaust. In fact, your whole argument seems to ignore the "facts" that the Nazi's did a whole lot of bad things...the Holocaust was only one of these things. You are deflecting, and using the Holocaust as a defense because you know it is a horrible and despicable act.

If you don't think the Nazi mentality could exist, independent of the Holocaust, you would be dead WRONG!

You see, the Holocaust, as horrible as it was, is really just a manifestation of a system gone completely amok. A system and it's leaders gone completely mad. And, why was this? Because they were allowed to exist long enough, unchecked, that they felt they could just wantonly commit genocide without repercussions. Because they silenced all who would disagree such that there was a vacuum of checks and balances. Just like Nazi's do.

Your association that Nazi's absolutely have to commit genocide such as the Holocaust is WEAK and SHALLOW. In fact, it's disingenuous even to Holocaust survivors and their descendants. Your statement...

...is just further proof of this. (And we'll over look the fact you didn't capitalize Holocaust). The truth is, there aren't many Holocaust survivors left on this planet to agree or disagree, just like there are no American slaves left to agree or disagree with a debate about slavery.

Your attempt to remove the word Nazi from discussion and debate by branding it with the scarlet letter of the Holocaust, and thus making it a taboo word in an attempt to disassociate the actions of the left is shallow and opaque.

No, the actions of the perpetrator in the OP are EXACTLY like those of a "Nazi"...so much so, that it's not a stretch to imagine this sort of an individual would willingly participate in another future Holocaust like event...if it were the political right who were the ones being "cleansed" from society.

Bottom line...there were a lot more Nazi's than there were Holocaust perpetrators, so just QUIT with the absolute association that ALL Nazi's are Holocaust perpetrating monsters! Get over it!

To be clear, what I am saying is...ALL Nazi's were evil and on the wrong side of history, but not ALL Nazi's were responsible for the horrors of the Holocaust! It's not that hard to comprehend.

ETA - There are countless examples of extreme Nazi' oppression and injustices across a broad spectrum of people who disagreed with, or didn't fit into, their philosophy, or more correctly, their "cult". The Holocaust is only one such example.

If it helps any I completely understood what you meant with your previous post and anyone with a lick of intelligence does as well. All he's doing is trying to twist your words around to make you look bad. I would personally recommend ignoring him if he continues to do that, because he's smart enough to know better.
