I have always loved music, in the late 80s i had my first walkman and i remember being on the train and singing my wee 8 yr
old heart out and people looking at me, i had no airs and graces then and the ego was just being born.
these days i still sing and jig to music but only when im myself lol, if a 39 yr old male was singing and jigging down the street the men in the white
coats would be called haha, anyway i thought i would share some songs that can uplift me and at times i can feel the energy rush up my back and up to
my crown....residual effects from my party days in my early 20s i dont know.
other songs can make me contemplate and have emotional surges that feel like they come from within
evoking feelings for the other half that resides within
the higher self, the guide, the guardian or the gods
maybe all are one but sometimes i feel artists are
describing that which is within

These entire albums have been some of my favorites:
ODESZA:
I think the astronaut story (a sample from a movie played at the very beginning of the album) is about stockholm syndrome. Instead of going
completely batsh-t crazy, instead of hating it or trying to control it, you learn to stop worrying, you learn to let go and give in and ultimately,
you learn to love the sound.
Also: HAELOS, but it's kind of sad mellow in comparison to the sometimes more upbeat songs of ODESZA, this album opens up with a sample of Alan Watts
speaking:
intro:
1st song "Pray":
The entire album "Full Circle" can be found on youtube playlists, it's all very good from start to finish.

aye Odesza is getting saved to my youtube playlist quality first couple of songs
love your music taste also and Alan Watts is a sage in my eyes
Haelos does have a weird effect on me... hard to describe, haunting?
thanks
You're welcome and thanks for letting me know! Odesza album songs vary, it's interesting, there are different kinds of songs on there all throughout,
it's inconsistent almost. But I've grown to love all of it from start to finish and hope you do too!
Yes haunting is a good word to describe Haelos, but it feels good too... it's deeply and darkly uplifting. I must love feeling haunted, lol!
