An Ocean of Lies on Venezuela.

One of the biggest problems in this country is the destruction of honest truth-seeking journalism. While, newspaper sales are going down, journalists are pushed more towards the internet. An internet where most "journalists" favor click-bait articles, or re-hashed badly researched stories.

Now we have this full effect on Venezuela where it is very rare to find honest reporting.

Trump is supposed to be an "isolationist", yet he is following in the footsteps of a long history of intervention in Latin America. In my opinion, Trump is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Presenting himself as a rebel wolf, while silently following the same pattern of foreign policy like a herded sheep.

Empire Files may have an axe to grind and could be biased and might be a front for who knows what.

No one was talking about intervention until people were able to get word out about starvation. Socialists call that propaganda, but if history is any kind of guide, then the truth is people are starving and the socialists caused it. Again.

So you need to watch a "video" to know what's going on in Venezuela?, maybe better to dig up the fact that Venezuela has been trough several corrupt "presidentes" and then socialism stepped in with Hugo Chavez and then his minion Maduro, and now the money of 'others' is gone and no mas "dinero" so people have no work, no food.

When the US is involved, it rarely is. Why don't they just let other nations do what they want? Everything was running smoothly in Venezuela until oil started flowing money back into the nation. Why isn't Trump after Bolivia?

Speaking of this topic, has anyone else seen the latest video advertisements embedded within YouTube videos when watched with the Amazon Fire TV stick? The ad is actually done quite well, providing a compelling case of of the transition and causes of the turmoil in Venezuela, due to the transition to socialism. All spoke about by a woman that lived and grew up during that time, and experienced the changeover.

TL;DR.

OPEC nations are slowly falling over. Either being toppled, told to obey, or invaded and turned into rubble.

Current US agenda is take down Venezuela, because it wanted to nationalize oil sale more. Trump splits nation, by waging war on media, and pointing out crazy leftys who have always been there just no - one cared, boost nationalism in it's wake. Wall isn't to keep illegals out, it's to stop influx of refugees from a conflict about to happen down south. There is no longer an ocean to stop people from the nation they are about to turn into hell, so what's the next best thing?

Our sanctions (for them not revolting against the elected president) is stopping billions in revenue a day.

Our aid is a few million a day.

It's always the US' fault that a socialist nation that attempted to centrally control all production collapsed.

Again, we left well enough alone until people started starving.

Socialism is a failure and it doesn't need the US to be so.

So why did the US slap massive sanctions on them when they needed not aid, but just to be allowed to enter the free market?

Forgot to add. Under Chavez they weren't starving. You're talking about a situation you don't understand beyond "SOCIALISM BAD".
