Transitioning isn't "coddling" a mental illness. The prescribed and most effective treatment for it, according to ACTUAL psychologists and other scientists, is to transition.

Just more gaslighting. There are plenty of endcrinologists and other medical specialists who are and have been trying to raise alarms about automatic gender affirming treatment -- especially for children. Just yesterday there was news about a new study that links heart problems with cross-hormone treatment. Just one more in a long line of studies that do show that these drugs and procedures are not just risky, but dangerous, and being used off-label without proper studies and without FDA approval.

And there are plenty of de-transitioners and trans-regretters trying to speak up, only to be bullied by the same Trans Taliban that you are pretending speaks for ALL persons identifying as transgender. It just ain't true, and I have no doubt you know that. So... just gaslighting.

And the studies to prove the efficacy of the treatment are not there, and Trans Taliban use bullying and threats and other intimidation tactics to make sure that proper research and studies are not conducted.

The Trans Activists have overplayed their hand.

Gaslighting? I'm not sure you know what the meaning of that word is. Also, just because heart problems or risk of stroke can add health risks to trans people doesn't mean that transitioning isn't the go to method to treat dysphoria anymore. It is just one more thing you have to worry about when going on HRT.

Detransitioners detransition for many reasons. The most popular one is because they don't pass well enough in their chosen gender which causes them more stress so they find it easier to live as their original gender.

Where did I say they lied? I agree. Having dysphoria causes depression which leads to suicide. Treatment allievates that depression, but it certainly doesn't make it go away completely if society piles on nonsense about how they really aren't a woman or a man (in the case of ftm).

I said you are misrepresenting the statistics because you are looking at them in a vacuum and assuming that trans people continue to suicide themselves after transitioning due to their dysphoria, yet that particular link is never pointed out by the Human Rights Campaign. You inserted that leap of logic on your own.

FYI: as a donator to HRC myself, I know full well that they fully support transitioning for trans people and actively fight for our rights. So using their own statistics to argue an opposite stance of HRC's is misusing their statistics for your own end.

If you look at the rates before and after transition you'll see that they have gone down.

And if you look at the methodology, you'll find that it is quite faulty, rendering most (if not all) information derived useless. For examples, no follow-up on patients who do not report back. They are simply removed from the tally. Maybe they killed themselves. The folks doing the studies don't care as long as the truth doesn't make it into their conclusions. The studies have also been short-term for the most part. No long-term follow-up. They have also focused exclusively on homosexual patients diagnosed with gender dysphoria, NOT heterosexual men who claim gender euphoria... Autogynephiles.

Nevertheless, given the disproportionately high occurrence of suicidal ideation, attempts, and successes within the post-transition population, it is OBVIOUS that transitioning is not THEE solution.

I'd throw in a large LOL, but this isn't a laughing matter. I used their statistic as it's what we in the business call a "fact". I "used" it to convey a point that when a kid is faced with this problem, suicide is a real possibility. And with the way society is trying to normalize this, only leads to more kids being put in this spot. This isn't normal. It's a mental illness, like depression. It's becoming fashionable to join this infinitesimally small group. It's a good thing you weren't old enough during Heaven Gate. You would be campaigning for everyone to buy black nikes.
