Been waiting for someone to make a thread so here it is.

Meet the F-21. Specifically configured for the Indian Air Force, the F-21 provides unmatched ‘Make in India’ opportunities and strengthens India’s path to an advanced airpower future. The F-21 addresses the Indian Air Force’s unique requirements and integrates India into the world’s largest fighter aircraft ecosystem with the world’s pre-eminent defence company. Lockheed Martin and Tata would produce the F-21 in India, for India.

The cockpit looks nice.

A pity the US military calls the Kfir the F-21.

Seems we are giving material support to both sides of the escalating conflict between India and Pakistan. What the hell, sell war today and reap the profits from both sides. That's what some US companies did prior to WW2 and it payed off handsomely.

What do you mean? It's always been the F-21 KFIR. It's been sold to a lot of different countries too since the mid 70's in different variations.

The Kfir was build by Israel Aircraft Industries and introduced into US Service as the F-21A Lion. Soo only 40ish of the 200+ Kfirs were ever called F-21.

Pretty #ty in house desgination IMO. Should have used F-19 or F-25...

Or better still just stop coming up with bul**hit new designations and call it the F-16IN (block 70). Everyone knows its an F-16, its not like you can hide it. Calling it the F-21 just confuses it with the Kfir. You cant call it the F-19 anyway, Testors already had that one sown up years ago.

The Block 70, which this is, will be the most advanced version of the F-16 to date if it's built. Currently the Block 60/62 used by the UAE gets that title.

Not very stealthy, looks like an F-16 or even a A-6 with all of the hard points.

Why were they firing missiles at the fuel tanker?

Conformal fuel tanks. The probe retracts into the side of the tank.
