I'm not sure words can be used to describe this act. I find it strangely entertaining while at the same time being horrified with myself for thinking so!

"Heilung is an experimental folk band of members from Denmark, Norway, and Germany.[1] They do music based on texts of original artifacts from the Iron Age and the Viking Age. They describe their music as "amplified history from early medieval northern Europe".[2] Heilung means "healing" in German.[3] Heilung is under contract at the label Season of Mist.[1]"

you missed my post: www.abovetopsecret.com...

But I think them worthy of as many threads as it takes to get the word out about this awesome band.

Why are you horrified with yourself for liking it?

By the way, these two are pretty good.

Sorry not a fan. This stuff doesn't work for me.

I am however a fan of Wadruna which I consider to be far superior.

Because it just might seem to "celebrate" white culture and as dfnj2015 is an avid fan of communism that is currently forbidden.

"I'm not sure words can be used to describe this act."

It's called performance art.

Sort of like Blue Man Group: they make music, but you'll never hear them on the radio. They have to be seen to appreciate the performance.

The costumes in the first vid were apparently influenced by the Knights who say "ni":

Oh yeah Heilung and Wardruna m / m /

I discovered them after watching the History Channel Vikings... though I'm pretty sure ancient iron age music didn't sound like this.
