I hope it was Baja Blast, it’s pairs nicely with high quality beef, that’s why they have it at Taco Bell.

My step dad is quite the poker player and the Peppermill comps the room on the top floor and and yes they do in fact take a loss. But the key thing is keeping people at the Slots and Table games. he will win or lose 10k and turn around and win way more back. So as usual the casino's will either comp rooms and give a voucher for a reduced cost at restaurants.

It really is nothing for the casino's to cut a loss on restaurants vs. Keeping that cash coming in on the casino floors. They make killing on slot machines.

It's still fake as they are not on the list of certified restaurants getting Kobe from Hyogo. It's a common food myth/lie that restaurants perpetrate on the public. Most of the 'Kobe' in the US comes from Snake River Farm and are not Japanese Tajima cattle.

I've had the real deal Jean George and you can completely tell the difference. If you want to experience it yourself try the link on the previous page, it's worth the money.

$49 for for 10 ounces AND IT WAS SO DAMN GOOD!

I hate to be that guy but they're either selling it for a tremendous loss or they're lying about it being real Japanese wagyu/Kobe. Most likely the latter since nearly all beef advertised as Kobe in the United States is not actually the real deal.

This is from 2016 but there are only about 9 to 10 restaurants selling certified Kobe beef in the United States. When in doubt ask to see the paperwork on it, they are required by the producer to have this handy to remain certified.

It's a common food myth that they use to dupe the public, another famous one is 'sashimi-' or 'sushi-grade' fish. No such thing.

Oh, and never, never, never get truffle oil, it's made with the same stuff they use in formaldehyde.

Most Wasabi is horseradish with food coloring too.

Second thought...
Looking online because I'm considering buying some Waygu steaks....

Amazon was 15 dollars an ounce and to buy the Australian and American is $210 for 2 8 ounce steaks. For 4 Kobe $505.00 steaks. Nebraska Star is $126.96 free delivery of 2 14 ounce steaks...

So after reading your link I'm more inclined to go with your observations. At this restaurant I went to they brought the steak out to myself and my sister. You could see the Fat marblilization of the meat. So we picked which ones we wanted.

For what it's worth. I chose medium and swear to god it had so much flavor and melted in my mouth.

Dannit I'm caving in looking at Amazon for Waygu and Kobe....
(((Clicks))).... and blows $600.00 GOSH DAMNIT SEEKER!!!!πŸ˜‘

Something to dream about, perhaps.

Ordering food thru Amazon is risky as far as returns go Burgh. Just letting you know.

I know exactly what's in Taco Bell beef because.. I.. oh Jesus, am I really going to admit this? I.. go there all the time! No, I work there part-time. It's the one by the mall and the airport though, okay, and it isn't corporate, it's franchise. And.. my manager is a really cute, short and thin, kind of ratchet but professional and educated, in her 20's with a booty that looks like she had a modest Brazilian butt job operation. She's single and I definitely am not trying to hollar at her, yet.. somehow it makes being told what to do throughout the day so much better and I find myself wanting to do extra good at work to get praise and respect from her. I mean, it beats the hell out of working for a mean or obnoxious fat guy, or an old mean lady etc. So, I stayed through the winter instead of quitting it as a summer and fall seasonal job.

So anyways, the beef has fillers in it. That's oat, wheat, and soybean, the same fillers that are in most frozen dishes you'd get at the grocery store (lasagna etc). The steak and chicken don't have fillers and are real cuts of meat of course. The chunk chicken is chili lime chicken breast and the steak is seasoned sirloin tip kinda things. The shredded chicken is dark meat from wings and legs with a sauce.

Never feel ashamed of where you work or worked.
I worked for Little Caesars, Pizza Hut, Dominoes and Costco's to make end meet meat as side jobs while working a main job. Bill's MUST be paid

Yup. If you're lucky you can get the real one imported. There are also some really good growers in Oregon producing the same radish here.

I use Crowd Cow myself and have never been disappointed. I like that I can order just one or two steaks and not have to worry about authenticity issues. The also have some great instructional videos for the home cook since preparing A4 or A5 cuts is not the same as making regular steak.
