Donald's campaign promise to build a wall that Mexico would pay for, was a stupid proposition in the first place... But making unrealistic campaign promises to win an election, isn't exactly uncommon amongst politicians.

Most politicians though, have the intelligence to just let their unrealistic campaign promises quietly die on the vine... Not Trump though, he has to have a massive temper tantrum and bring attention to his failures... Like a spoilt little baby, holding his breath till he turns blue, because he can't get what he wants.

That's all this shutdown was about... Donald having a lil temper tantrum because he wasn't winning. It never had anything to do with the security of the American population.

He still has 2 to 6 years left. It's not a tantrum when this country has millions of illegals in it. Our population would go down almost 10% or more if we were able to get rid of all the illegals in this country. We can't stop them all, but we can stop it more than now with a wall. I don't care who pays for it. The "Mexico will pay for it" comment wasn't the focus for his voters, the wall was.

Trump isn't the one looking like he's refusing to negotiate. And with the past yay votes by Chuck and Nancy towards border security, it looks like they are playing political games with peoples lives just to oppose Trump.
