I love that so many of you hate her for the same reasons you love trump.
Why is that?
Hahaha
Do you think the world will be destroyed in 12 more years?
I don't
Has nothing to do with my point

So...she gets upset, occasionally says things that aren't factually accurate, doesn't care what others think of her, and doesn't have a lot of political experience...
But yet it's scary to you that a lot of Democrats would consider her for president when she becomes legally eligible?
That description sounds EXACTLY like Trump. You're scared of someone exactly like Trump, but the progressive version of him, becoming president.
That makes me chuckle.
I didn't know Cortez was a successful billionaire with decades of experience in business. I'll be damned.
The timeline Ocasio-Cortez referenced was likely based on a U.N. backed report, released last year, that predicted the consequences of man-made climate change would become irreversible in twelve years if global carbon emissions are not immediately and dramatically reduced.

Then you find what she says stupid, too?

“Facts are facts, America. We should care about getting things right. Yet standards of who gets fact-checked, how often + why are unclear,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted Monday. ”
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez admitted that she gives “zero” f–ks when her Democratic colleagues criticize the youngest woman elected to the House for speaking her mind.
She sounds Like Donald Trumps Illegitimate Daughter.
Think about that Progressives....
All of Trump's kids are successful. I wouldn't put Cortex in the same sentence. She acts like she didn't make it through middle school.
And yet, she now holds a high government position. At 29 years old. Seems pretty successful to me.
Because she was elected by a bunch of radicals in her district? That's like the grand wizard getting elected in a district full of white supremacists.

This cortez woman is delusional, trying to spread fear among our population. I sure hope she doesn't believe the crap flowing out of her mouth at times. Are all people in New York that bad?
Again, just like trump.
You all love him
Hate her
It's very interesting

I never said she was. And that has nothing to do with my argument, therefore, strawman.
To the point: Her political description is exactly the same as Trump's. The only differences are age, gender, and what side of the aisle they lean towards.
And the majority on ATS seem genuinely scared of her (why else would people come up with every reason to put her down?), yet they laud Trump for acting the exact same way.
It's an interesting thing to watch.

I do not know much about this woman, don't care to. I did however see this, and it makes sense.

Trump has been around politics for 50 years, he just never became a politician. He went straight from businessman to president. Cortez is working her way up the same way all of our corrupt politicians do. They all work for each other on both sides. Since Bush Sr., we haven't had a president from either party that was in it for the people. Trump is the first one since Reagan. Cortez is nothing like that. She appeals to radicals and people ignorant enough to think socialism would be successful in a country 330 million strong where a little over half are paying taxes.
I find it hard to believe that anyone in scared of her, a lot of other democrats don't even like her and the same goes for Americans.

The only way to reduce these emissions is by pollution. So either we start banning the environmentalists and keep up our normal human pollution in the atmosphere and let the world continue her weather pattern she's had for billions of years, or we keep trying to go green and clean everything up, thus furthering this global warming theory. The whole thing is irony at its best.
Decisions decisions.

Why does that negate them being successful? Her getting elected to that position due to "radicals" (or the grand wizard in your example) doesn't lessen the accomplishment. I'm not saying either of them are good people, but being good and being successful are completely separate things.
Objectively, Hitler was "successful" when it came to political prowess. That doesn't mean he was a good person. He was just successful. Same with the Zodiac Killer. Horrible person. But, "successful".
ETA: I also wouldn't categorize her district as "radical". Progressive, sure. But I can think of a lot of areas in the country that are way more radical than the NY 14th.
