Because very few if any actually would want that. My personal opinion is that its stupid to wear specifically political messaging outside of a campaign rally or some specific political event, only time I've ever known someone actually do so was my friend wearing an Obama shirt to school just to trigger some people, that was pretty stupd too..but really worked where we went to school. I'd say people can wear whatever they want as long as its not intentionally done to cause a disturbance or provocate something.

In a joke on Twitter, Rep. John Yarmuth on Sunday called for a “total and complete shutdown of teenagers wearing MAGA hats,” saying they “seem to be poisoning young minds.”

The joke was in response to President Trump’s call for a ban on Muslims entering the country until representatives can figure out “what is going on."

it was a private/Catholic school, not a public one. church/school outing promoting life.
to me that makes it very different.
I can't imagine a public school letting kids on a school outing wear a MAGA hat.

If we are going to ban clothes, can it at least be something that makes sense.

There's certainly more logical articles of apparel that could be banned. Like socks with sandles...
