I cooked some toast this morning. It was perfect. First go. Just the right amount of color and crunch. The toasty odor was sooo good.

We should all stop the government to celebrate my production of the perfect toast from a toaster that has, sometimes, burnt the toast, and sometimes has not cooked it to today's perfection.

I assume it was either my toastmaking brilliance or an accident of astrological configuration. Nah, must have been my toasting genius!

Obama flat out stated that we would never get above 1.8% GDP, it was not possible and Trump lied to America because he said he could do it. Remember? "What does Trump have... a magic wand?" (Stupidest thing a President has said ever, in retrospect.)

Bush started the bailouts (which happened because of Democratic policies in the housing and financial markets.) Obama continued them.

Obama's economic policies were exactly the same as Bush's were.

As far as the rest, Obama took a 18 month recession and made it last 8 years, while adding 10 trillion in debt... more than all other Presidents combined.

The economy started taking an upturn in 2015 because businesses knew that Obama was leaving, so consumer confidence started to rise.

So yes, in a way Obama started the recovery...

Because America knew he was leaving office.

Apparently, you forgot about 2009-2016. If trump had walked into what Obama did, America would have struggled another 6 years. Trump, walking into what Obama did would have made things WORSE. Trump would have had zero idea how to fix, what Obama DID fix!

Let's just pretend, trump doesn't go to jail, and he gets re elected, the economy would crash. Its already looking bad. Get ready to pay 10% more for your cars next year. That will add thousands, to the cost.

Ask the Farmers who voted for him, how they feel. Also ask Government workers how they feel. When your done with that, ask Mattis, and all the others who have bailed on Trump, and worked under him, how they feel. Get back to me on that.

People who have left the White House, pretty much say the same exact thing. With people so blinded by their own pride, it doesn't resonate.

The job of future Presidents after him was to manage the decline of America, because the GDP would never rise above 2% again, the workforce participation rate will always be low because automation has taken unskilled jobs and America just needed to deal with it.

Why don't you find a reputable source and start a thread on the verifiable BAD THINGS President Trump has done since taking the oath of office?

If you look back at old ATS threads, pro-Obama people posted lists of his accomplishments, but they were miniscule, and often hurt as many (or more) Americans than they helped. ObamaCare was the big one. Hurt far more families than it helped.
