"Make Australia great again!"

This was the slogan of Australian mining magnate cum politician Clive Palmer, who just like Trump is under scrutiny for shady business dealings, twitter rants, and...well just take a look.

Would-be politician Clive Palmer appears to have sent more unsolicited text messages to unsuspecting voters — ironically promising to ban unwelcome messages from political parties.

Hypocrisy? check. Here's another

Businessman Clive Palmer has withdrawn counterclaims seeking $1.8 billion in damages from liquidators of Queensland Nickel, who are seeking to recover hundreds of millions of dollars over the closure of the Townsville refinery.

Mr Palmer described the appointment of QNI liquidators as a "politically motivated witch-hunt".

QNI collapsed in 2016 with $300 million in debts, putting more than 800 people out of work.

Mr Palmer, his nephew Clive Mensink and 19 other people are being sued for about $500 million by liquidators PPB Advisory, who were appointed by the Federal Government.

Trump airlines anybody? but wait-he plans to build another Titanic

If the Titanic was the ship that was meant to be unsinkable, the Titanic II is the idea that seems to be un-killable. Six years after Australian mining magnate Clive Palmer declared he was going to build a replica of the Titanic, and three years after he had to suspend work on the project due to money troubles, Palmer has announced that work on the project will start up again.

Trump Universities anyone?

And finally we have Palmers' dinosaur park, and to quote Jeff Goldblum from Jurassic Park " life er er er...finds a way." Apparently life doesn't find a way in Palmers' Paradise, which by the way, has flaked.

A spate of negative reviews by guests on the resort's TripAdvisor page detailed visitors' frustrations from the loud noises and the "tacky" touch they felt it brought to the resort. Many guests who visited the dinosaur park wrote about their shock upon learning that the admission fee for a family of five is $100. Mr Palmer had previously defended the pricing, saying: "It's a lot cheaper than going to Disneyland".

That's not the end of it as we approach the 18th hole

Even before Palmersuarus officially opened, the Australian PGA decided not to host future championships at Palmer Coolum resort after 11 years at the venue.

As well as the dinosaur presence, Palmer's 60 painted signs on several fairways promoting his own commercial interests led to the PGA's withdrawal.

The loss of the championship later caused a decline in hotel bookings in Coolum the following year as the PGA moved to the RACV Royal Pines resort on the Gold Coast.

Now here's the final nails in the Trump clone. His party has have many members walking out en masse, there is no point in talking about approval ratings as it lower than double digit percentage, and all of the above. See a correlation? The good thing is despite whatever the world says about aussies, we (or they, DNA results pending) ain't stupid.

Makes you wonder if he is emulating trump or that trump, palmer, and others have been groomed for this?

Oh there is grooming alright, But I doubt there is overt grooming if that makes sense, Trump groupies would throw his wallet at him, despite his idiocy.

I know a bit about politics, and I know a lot about psychology. Politicians hire specialists to "manage" their body gestures, for instance when a politician shows open palms, they are trying to placate the crowd without showing defeat.

any conservative (businessman) is going to get the full treatment from the left, pols and media.

nobody can do stuff for decades without some questionable dealings.
this is what happens to any conservative SCOTUS nominee. his record is run through and they'll always find something they can interpret as questionable.
all they could find on Romney was he carried his dog on top of his car.

the hateful left will try to destroy any outsider, for short term gain and to dissuade future conservatives from getting involved.

and then they'll ramp up the rhetoric. 'oh gosh he's the most awfullest conservative monster ever he must be destroyed'. and the 'nationalist white racist patriot anti-woman anti-whatever evil evil evil' labels.

one of these days a real right-wing psycho is going to emerge and the media and leftists will squeal and no one will pay attention cuz its the same old rhetoric that's been going on for years. Trump was a monster. Romney was a monster. the Bushes were monsters. blah blah blah.

maybe the Aussies, like the US, figured a businessman with real-world experience could improve things over the career never-worked-a-day-in-their-lives politician types.

In Australia Hillary would be called a smug Bunyip.

in American English that translates to 'damn dat b!tch has a poker up her @$$!!!' no offence, I just can't tell the difference, My friends' stepfather is a cop and I don't know whether to call him Bob or Barb.

Oh if you want to know what a Bunyip looks like, imagine a snail with legs and fur, except they don't radiate smugness and barely concealed hatred towards their cheating spouse.

While I did not stop to look and see how closely this Aussie resembles Trump, I can tell you one thing. He aint Trump!

I suspect we are witnessing the new phase of the plan by globalists, mimic the Trump blueprint to confuse the base.

I'm going to introduce you to a word that explains modern politics...Obfuscation.

Obfuscation is the obscuring of the intended meaning of communication by making the message difficult to understand, usually with confusing and ambiguous language.

Lets say i'm Senator Cake that is been accused of sexual harassment.

MSM: Yes or no-did you participate in inappropriate sexual conduct?

ME:That's not the point, the United cake party has a clear three point plan to erase debt, purple monkey diswasher.

MSM: but you failed to answer my yes or no question, did or did you not have sexual relations with that woman?

ME: The question is not about my sexual dalliances, we are here to talk about the republicans latent neglect of-

MSM: i'll take that as a yes.

I will be voting for Clive Palmers United Australia Party for much the same reason as folks who voted for Trump - the existing 2-party system in Australia is rigged, and the MSM is totally leftist beyond repair whose dribble is reflective of Open Society Foundations policies of 'priorities for minorities'.

Time to make Australia great again.

Trumps exposure of the rigged system and the MSM 'news' are all I needed to see that Trump is EXACTLY what we needed here in the states...

What I would love to understand is WHY do liberals appear to be completely oblivious to this fact.

My guess is that they are unable to comprehend that something so dastardly could actually happen.

Are there any ex-liberals here that can give us any tips as to how to shine the light on this?

Oh please, you and I both know she'd be called something with the American 'killing curse,' the "C-bomb" in it by anyone in Oz. Hell's bells, a good number of us here in America openly call her that and the word is second only to the infamous 'N-word' in terms of words that will see you ridiculously portrayed as a monster if you dare use them in this country, whereas Australians use it as a noun, verb, adjective, and a preposition openly and without backlash.

Lol, BUT he's a Queenslander/politician who (IMO made his first millions by being a very good salesman/liar to mainly Asian clients buying "vaction appartments" in the 70's and 80's and then fully lucked out on getting the lease on a piece of land with a metric (it's Oz!) Sh#ton of nickel which he was able to finance with Chinese investors, who IIRC Clive ended up in court against them and won (a Lot!)

unlike Trump who didn't have to be coz he had a rich dad, basically .... but IMHO Trump is Far 'smarter' than Clive Palmer and afaik Trump is actually a rather 'vanilla' kinda guy who's got no skeletons in the closet, although I couldn't say the same thing for this fat f#ck!

This article from 2013 (his 'hey day') gives an good allround impression of how batsh#t crazy ole Clive is, the money 'went to his head' like the bubbles of bad shampain goin up yer schnoz! Clive knows about such things, he's a Man of the world, why did you know that HE'S bold, eccentric and wears $23 trousers.

Here are all the tidbits you don't yet know about gregarious politician Clive Palmer. (from 2013) Don't worry, not much has changed except he's no longer as rich as he was and most of his 'businesses' are either closed or 'on hold'! lol

Go hard Clive, you can't even make PAGA let alone MAGA ?! lol

it's times like this (and when Jeff Kennett was PM) that make me a wee bit cringe to be an Aussie ... but right now I've got a dropbear hiding in my backyard and I'm a bit worried for the neighbors kids, the curious little bastards want to poke it with sticks . . . I told em to "go play with the tiger snakes, it's safer" . . . they're 5-6yo so they should know better than what they've been doing recently, y'know, come to think of it, Clive looks like a bit of a dropkick who could do with a dose of dropbear[/i

And here Is;

Everything you need to know about Clive Palmer's life
