Well that's if Macrons version of Democracy allows any new leaders to step up. Don't be surprised that he suddenly has to stop the elections come along lol THAT would be his Democracy then again I have to say that his version is also the very same that the EU thrives on so...

The test will come when he is up for reelection. If the French vote him in again and it isn't shrouded in corruption and lies, then well much like Germany its on them. They know who he is, they know what he is like but vote him in again and I give them no sympathy. Although I think if he loses any reelection he'll be in the EU power structure somewhere.

You could relate that to the UK too ...... if we dont get Brexit that is where

our democracy will be.

I think Theresa May is working for them too (the EU) and maybe a place in the

EU power structure for her IF she delivers??

Oh I'm right there with you. I think Macrons version of Democracy is one that May would love to have. I don't actually think she'd be welcomed into the EU just because they've seen how badly she has messed up when it comes to forcing through her deal. Then again if she doesn't follow through on Brexit I honestly think we will see a huge change in the way politics works in the UK and more to the point Tories will be out of government for a long time.
