A suspect has been taken into custody in regards to the case, according to the Barron County Sheriff.

This has weighed on our hearts here in Wisconsin. People have not stopped searching since the day her parents were murdered.
I am so glad she has been found. Jayme Closs is Alive!

this girl has probably been through hell and back 1000 times by now, lost her parents and is now on primetime news. Thankful to hear she has been rescued but this just sounds like a very sad start to this young lady's life

Yes she does have family and they never gave up hope.

I just read the link you posted and saw the link to the story about the pervert who broke into her house and stole her clothes.
He told police that he was “curious about what size she was”
WTF?
I hope they still got that clown locked up.

She must be a mess mentally. I hope that she can get over all of what happened to her, it won't be easy.

So glad to hear this wonderful news!! Been following this story with the feeling that she was still alive, as well. While still a tragic story, this is the best outcome that could have happened and lets hope this young girl can now begin to heal.

I'm really glad she's been found alive, so many of these cases (missing people I mean, this is quite an unusual case) either end in tragedy or perhaps worse, unsolved. I just hope the most traumatic thing she's had to endure is the death of her parents which wos be bad enough without her being kidnapped too.

Just charged with 2 counts of intentional murder and kidnapping. Relieved there wasn't any sexual assault or rape. It is bad enough she watched the scum kill her parents..

Jayme escaped from a home in Gordon, approached a neighbor walking a dog and asked for help. The neighbor, retired social worker Jeanne Nutter, said Jayme appeared thin with matted hair but physically OK. Nutter took her to the nearby home of Peter Kasinskas, The Star Tribune of Minneapolis reports, saying “This is Jayme Closs! Call 911!” Kasinskas told the Tribune that Jayme didn't know where she was but believed she had been in the area for most of the last three months.

She was abducted by:
"Sheriff IDs suspect in abduction of Wisconsin teen and killing of her parents as 21-year-old Jake Thomas Patterson"

It appears he planned out the entire thing and found a way to hide his identity

Best possible outcome from this horrific crime. She escaped!

I can't imagine a punishment our legal system can provide fitting of the crimes the accused perpetrator is guilty of, unless he is put in general population of a maximum security prison and inmates are aware of his crimes.

This has being weighing on my mind and I live in Ohio. I was just saying yesterday when they announced a press conference next week on the case status that was bad news. Then she was found!!!

This guy should be beaten within a inch of his life on National TV before they execute him
