Alibaba & their captcha!!!!!!!!!

I don't use that site often but I wanted to get some pricing on things that are impossible to find here. SO I made some requests (quotes) and they have their own captcha window you have to go through. Well I did 2 requests and I had to try no less than 80 times before it accepted my input. It was SO difficult to read, worse than a "retarded" 1st grader writing with their non-dominate hand. The thing is that they don't even have another option to speak the words/letters or any other kind of method. You can click on the letters and it will give you a new selection, I ended up clicking about 10x each before I even thought I had a chance of getting the 6 digits correct.

The thing is that they show 5 or 6 letters in the box along with swirls, slashes, wavey lines, so something like a O could look like a Q of an r look like an n, of an x looking like 2 stray swirls/lines intersecting WAY underneath the rest of the letters that are lines up. Then many of them have spaces filled with swirls. Do you add the space in what you type or ignore it? it took over 1/2 hour for just the captcha's alone.

I'd complain, but IDK if it would work w/ the language barrier.

On another note, has anyone ever ordered from Alibaba? I used to be skeptical but with the amount of business they are doing, they have to be doin something right, it's the biggest company (online at least) in China. I kow peole have had good success with Alixpress but ebay and Bangood often have same prices, faster shipping and better customer service (good luck with returns to Ali or Banggood!!!)

O know a few people that use them. Quite cheap. Just becarfull of the shipping arrangements. They usually ship to country then you have to arrange for it to be collected from the docks apparently. But might be different now. . a reply to: DigginFoTroof

I just want to point out that you used "retarded" as an insult ("retarded 1st grader") and then went on to immediately misspell a simple word. "Non-dominate hand." Pretty funny.
