The wave that you see is a video artifact called screen tearing. It occurs when the video feed is not in sync with the display refresh rate. If you would have done a search on ATS there was a previous OP on this subject. No holographic projection of the Moon.

Screen Tearing

That's not screen tearing, screen tearing is caused by camera movement. A "tear" is when the top half of the screen shows the next frame, while the bottom half shows the previous frame, causing a tear in the image. Tearing is only horizontal, based upon how screens draw images. If that were tearing, it'd be straight across the horizontal axis. Further, since the camera is fixed and aligned with the moon, the previous frame and the next frame would have virtually zero variance, and you wouldn't see the tear, and it would happen all at once, and not travel from one side of the screen to the other in a wave.

Refresh rates poll from top to bottom, this is why if you film an old CRT or TV, you see the wave you're talking about travel through the image, but make no mistake, that wave is always horizontal and always travels top down.

No saying it's a holographic image... but it's certainly not screen tearing, it's most likely something in the atmosphere moving in the foreground creating that optical illusion.

Such as the wash/wake from the engines of a passing jet (perhads passing out of frame above). Warmer air coming out of the engine would cause thermal ripples.

That jet distortion could be a cone, and maybe the two "waves" we see are the two edges of the cone.

I watched a video on youtube where this guy took a photo of the moon, it was the same distance as an orchard focusing on an apple tree. The tree was withing camera distance, and, less than the moon appeared from Earth. I found that odd, don't you?

Hey there I have a more interesting idea that You can run with

The moon is a real ball of rock, but it has a holographic projection of mundane rock and dust covering the visible side, so that "they" can hide all those alien bases

See fixed it, now you can run with this, and have more arguments for the good fight

I really don't see anything wrong with people asking questions. In fact I think its healthy to ask questions, it shows an impulse to want to truly understand the environment around us. Particularly so when things pop up that challenge the status quo. Never blindly follow...

So sad to see how this site has gone from Deny Ignorance to people asking if the Moon is a hologram.

Are you serious? The very type of subject ATS covers, is topics like these. On this very site - ATS - 'Above Top Secret' - hint its all in the name. On a google search ATS pops up with this "Conspiracy Theories, UFOs, Paranormal".... Surely this topic fits in snug as a bug here?

OP is denying ignorance in this very thread. OP is asking a whether we're being told by NASA et al about the Moon is true. You may not agree with OPs POV, but it is a valid question. How do we know for sure the Moon isn't a hologram? Just believe NASA no questions asked?

I gave you photos, links and the answer to what you are seeing in the video. Please show me more evidence that the Moon is a holographic projection so we can continue the healthy discussion.

Yes you have. From one of the most elite, controlled, biased agencies in the world. I bet NASA have super hot photoshop.

They show us what they want to show us. And no doubt all for very very particular reasons.

Many pics of space that we see from NASA are cleaned up and edited by NASA. How do we as citizens know for sure, that the info we're being given, is how things really are?

They could make loads of stuff up, keep it going for decades and everyone just blindly believes. There is so little transparency within these organizations it is incredibly hard to know the full truth... Maybe the Moon is what they say it is, maybe it isn't. We as citizens aren't in any position to know for certain.

A healthy discussion involves hearing and taking on board opposing views, assimilating what you've heard/learned, which in turn should change/evolve your own perspective, in some form... A healthy, successful discussion should have an outcome in which both parties feel they have evolved their own opinions and feel better for it..

The lunar waves are strange. Are they a CIA psyop for some sort of agenda? Maybe the Moon is holographic? Is our entire sky holographic? Are they actually physically occurring on the Moon? Why are so many amateur night sky watchers now filming this? There are so so many questions. And really not many actual answers to any...

Lets all go to the Moon ourselves and find out...!

Yes, there are stupid questions.

The moon is as real as the earth you stand on.

As flat as the ground I stand on .....

I had an intelligent guy ask me to research Flat Earth. I told him its not true. He said " would you please do it for me?" He wanted me to look into Rob Skibo's information. I agreed. I had to set aside my previous research and opinion, but was able to complete the task. I did find some weird stuff, but I came away not convinced, and explained why.

Even stupid questions are ok. I think we should encourage people. Not stomp them down. Patience is an asset.

Yes, questions should be asked.

Yes, establishments should be challenged.

To ignore centuries of honest attempts by brilliant individuals from many countries to determine the nature of the moon and how it influences our solar system, and ignore their findings is asinine.

Are threads like “Is Our Moon a Holographic Projection?” about honest interest in centuries of results by brilliant individuals? Or somebody ignoring actual research to use innuendo for self promotion among a biased group

What are those Pink Floyd lyrics again? “Did you trade your heroes for ghosts? Trade a walk on part for a lead role in a cage?”

The reposting of the moon not being real is just like “swimming in the same fishbowl year after year.”

By the way. Many individuals from the past that determined the nature of the moon and how it influenced our solar system did have to challenge the establishment. Some paid personal sacrifice. Is that a false statement.

To ignore past honest research that changed world views at personal sacrifice to try to promote the moon is a hologram is again asinine.
