What about all of the other hundreds of holidays that are observed this time of year? You know, the billions of people and their children who don’t
want to be christians or observe christian holidays that “happen” to land at the same time of the year.
Saying happy holidays is a way to include everyone in your well wishing no matter what their (very unimportant) choice of imaginary monster they
worship. It’s a phrase of inclusion, instead of just assuming that everyone is a christian, or even worse that everyone should be a christian and
that they need to listen to you proclaim your religion every ten minutes, as if it matters that you think your imaginary friend is more important than
their’s.
Happy holidays to everyone.... not just to you christians.
What would christians be without us atheists to remind them how to be more christlike.
