Wave of bomb threats causes evacuations, anxiety nationwide

I've read on a couple of other sites that they are saying these aren't credible. Who knows what to believe these days.
This person posted this on ATS a while back and there were a few more.
I remember reading that and at that time, there was a weird bomb that went off in a suburb of Milwaukee. The FBI was looking for information.

The FBI issued a statement in which it said, "We are aware of the recent bomb threats made in cities around the country, and we remain in touch with our law enforcement partners to provide assistance. As always, we encourage the public to remain vigilant and to promptly report suspicious activities which could represent a threat to public safety."

There is a high school in my area that has had FOUR threats of being shot up by different people in the past week or so.

This sh*t is getting ridiculous. Let's get people off of their meds.

That makes me wonder if "they must be off their meds" is a phrase trademarked by BigPharma as a psyops experiment. Gotta keep those "crazy" people on their meds so that they don't go crazier.

Oh, wait...

Interesting you bring up schools, (can't believe your school's got that many! What do you do? call off school every time?)
it seems that a lot of schools have been targeted.
Again, many of them are saying it is a hoax..

Similar threats were reported in New York, Florida, Illinois, Utah, Texas, Massachusetts and other states. Some of the emails had the subject line: "Think Twice." The disruptive emails forced some schools to close early. Other locations were evacuated as police searched the properties.

The New York City Police Department said the threats sent Thursday were meant to cause disruption and compel recipients into sending money and are not considered credible.

Somebody called in this morning to Columbine High School here in Co, and stated they had placed explosives around the campus. 22 schools on lockout. Cops say there's no reason to believe it's real, but they are investigating.

It just makes me so uneasy. I remember reading something maybe ten years ago saying that schools would be the next terrorist targets.

What's Behind the Ryle High School Threats?

Answers: Bullying; acting tough; copycat, and...wait for it...; wanted to get out of school.

These damn kids.

But tactically speaking, if someone was going to do an attack, it would make sense to inundate a bunch of fake reports and threats so that the real thing would be unexpected. I never forget that when clusters of these threats show up.

a co-worker was just telling me her kids' school had a "threat" and they canceled all after school activities, even though they've confirmed the threat was not legitimate.

This is in Vermont...

Just saw my cousin post something on social media, At least two elementary schools in my neck of the woods had evacuations and one was on lockdown.

The PA state police are no joke, im sure they'll find the culprits sooner rather than later.

If people really wanted to bomb something they would just do it and not tell us about I first. This is all about either creating fear or testing responses for a real bombing in the future.

I got kicked off a jobsite in Scranton on election day

We were working on a construction site building the new government counry site and had to evac due to a bomb threat. It was the 2nd or 3rd week in a row

Also several schools in the PA area I live have had threats as well

You wont see this kind of stuff in the news they suppress it.

Last night a few blocks down the road a guy was firing into random cars drivinf down the street. They never found em

Societty is getting very dangerous

This is all because of the vapid narcissistic social media culture these kids are literally submerged in.

That and bad parenting plays a decent role too.

I'm seeing reports all over the place now,

Chicago,
Michigan,

From teachers on FB

Oklahoma.

Even if this is a false alarm it makes me wonder if something else is on the horizon.

BTW Teachers are not amused and already ready to throw in the towel. Just one more thing they have to deal with.

See your guns are not protecting you so give them up. Just bought the wife a new Glock 9 for Christmas.

It is definitely disconcerting. I keep telling my husband that I'm glad we don't have any kids. And that sentiment bothers me because I really wanted to have a family. With the social climate the way it is, I'd probably be tearing my hair out in anxiety.

Not that I disagree that this is a growing problem. But it is final exam time across the country and that's when most school bomb threats happen. Some kids can't cope with knowing they will fail because they didn't study, so close the school and get another day to cram.

Another threat is ISIS has declared they have some nice holiday surprises for us and Europe... Probably just bluster except some religion of peace idiot might take it upon his or her self to commit an act of stupidity and get holiday shoppers hurt.

It would appear these kind of acts are not going away anytime soon.

Part of the problem is that sending a bomb threat is easier than planting a real bomb, and disruptive enough to be satisfying to the people who do it.

We had a bomb threat today at one of the hospitals in Decatur, Illinois.

I work there. It was kept hushed up, but people searched the building.
