It's a daily routine here! He was always so quiet until we went to SE Texas for my Dad's surgery and daughter's wedding back in May and he was around my granddog who apparently barks the entire time he is left alone, every time the wind blows, each time a twig snaps, etc. He isn't as bad as my daughter's dog but he barks far more often since then!

You could get him a barking collar for Christmas with a remote.
That way all you have to do is zap him every time he barks unnecessarily.
