'Charlie Brown Thanksgiving' criticized as racist

I've been making the "poor Franklin has to sit by himself on one side of the table in a crappy chair because he's black" joke for years now. I'm not offended by it, but I do understand that when the cartoon was made, nobody felt like it was wrong to do it.

It's a sign of the times and a sign of progress that people now DO recognize just how poorly minorities were treated and thought of even as recently as the 1970's - 1980's.

I don't see a reason to be outraged by it today, but to say it isn't what it blatantly is, well that's just willful ignorance.
