Some do though. I voted Dem because its what I was raised on. It wasnt until 2015 when I knew they were going to run Hillary, I looked at different options. Thats when I realized I more right of center. I'd always held libertarian ideals, but still voted Dem.

There is hope. Some lefties (like my former self) can awaken from their sleep.
