Obnoxious redirect using safari

I am having a problem accessing ats on my iPhone using safari, it constantly redirects me to a scam saying I won a iPhone. When I try to log in it says website not secure. I have tried factory reset and clearing cookies and history, nothing works. The only way I got it to stop was to use Firefox. Is anyone else having this problem?

I get it periodically with safari.

Sounds like a issue with ats

Yep mine has been doing this for 2 days now, I get redirected within 10 seconds.

Hope the ad revenue is worth making your site unusable ATS, because I finally had to download an ad blocking app today just so I could view the site for more than 10 sec at a time.

This has been getting worse and worse and I finally got tired of it, I know the staff here doesn’t want users using ad blockers but that choice do we have?

For mobil users here’s your choices:
Use an ad blocker or ATS is UNUSABLE

Btw I’m using ad blocker pro for iPhone, it’s free and with just the ad blocker and tracker blocker running I’m ad free and redirect free on ATS

Android here, no issues at all. Hope it stays that way, I don't want a free iphone.

I use google on my iPhone and it does the same thing. Maybe viewing for 20 to 30 seconds.

I am having the same sort of issue on my Samsung tablet, only it sends me to the Walmart Rewards Center. It has already knocked me off ATS twice tonight.

Happened to me around noon on Android. (was using edge)
But only happened once, I think I got a free gift card. XD

On my I pad,I keep getting redirected to a ytube scam. I think I have eradicate it.

Yeah, I've had sporadic issues with the redirect here. Have tried pretty much everything to no avail..

Definitely makes it a bit annoying to browse.

I DO notice it seems to happen a lot more in actual threads, rather than forum pages, but its definitely not 100%

The only way I can view ats on my iPhone is (Sorry, ATS) with an ad blocker installed and running because otherwise I get the same issues or I have ads blocking buttons or replies. I know it’s frowned upon to have an ad blocker running but I’d rather be able to read threads than be redirected every 30 seconds.

Going to need add blocker here also, ya crap, can’t get on at all sometimes. ONLY on ATS does this happen!

Youre not supposed to block ads here or ATS will block you....only YOU visiting ATS...something browser related...it's not happening to 1/4 million ATS members.

We all understand it’s not happening to you, and that it’s not happening to everyone, but it is causing issues for at least a few of us and it’s making the site periodically unusable.

So please if it’s such an easy fix tell me how to stop site blocking ads on iOS without using an ad blocker because I’ve tried a lot of things.

You showing up to this forum always dismissing the issue because your personally are not experiencing it is pointless, and yes you’ve commented on threads I’ve made in this forum with the same dismissive attitude.

We get it, things are all good for you on ATS, what’s your secret?

2 different iPhones, 3 different iPads, and 3 browsers last night between 8:45 and 11pm (central) and I couldn’t get on ATS. As soon as the home page loaded, BAM, YouTube scam. Every. Single. Time. Last night. So, don’t give me your garbage about it just being on my end.

Of course the very first thing I did was clear my data and history (the ATS cure all.) ATS is my home. I wake up with it and go to sleep browsing it. I have never used a pop up blocker before, but I’m seriously considering getting one now.

Why? Because it was the mods who helped me 7 yrs ago!

No 1 fix, because it's not ATS itself...but a combination...PER MEMBER...per device...of their own individual brands, settings, types of security features, screen resolutions, i..p.'s, font sizes, cookies, blockers, autoplay settings, cks on other sites selected to allow or not certain features, choices...

That's times each and every member x each and every device we each own x brands, versions and functional settings...

Consider: We've all seen reviews of something or some app, and although many are positive...there's always someone reviewing them that says "This SUCKS! Don't waste your time! It never works right, freezes etc etc etc".

Always added is "Can you guys FIX this...? Well? No...because if they corrected it for the few w issues....it would then create a 1/4 million plus new issues for those of us who have none.

What you'll realize is if the positive reviews and replies are positive...except for the few yelling "Getting sick of this site...it's only here...it never....etc etc"...proves it not ATS....buht the individual user, their settings, programs, restrictions from other places they've got from other sites...etc etc etc.

Thanks to the mods, Springer, site owner Skeptical Overlord for this info. Once they advised me when I was a newbie..I never had another issue...and if I did? Knowing the above conflict potentials mentioned...I quickly was able to find, fix and correct them myself.

I hope this helps anyone whomever had issues w ATS....because there remains over 300,000 active members who havent any issues.

Mysterioustranger, of those 300,000 "active" members, how many do you think have the problems stated in this thread, saw your reply and thought "nah, screw it MS has already told us we watch porn and that is why WE are the problem and not his beloved site, no bother trying"?

We get it, you are hoping to become mod. This is not the way to do it, you have to help people with their problems, not tell them it is their problem and hope they are belittled into a corner labelled "I am a burden".
