Well I suppose the underlying dynamic of this thread is more focused on social/civil issue for sure. I am keeping g track of Russians military moves in Libya though in this thread though if your looking for a more global conflict context. Allegedly there are rumors of s-300 deployment soon to the Mediterranean coast of Libya possibly in Tobruk and Benghazi. Would that put European airspace in the Med. In Jeopardy??

Eh, considering NATO has a new iron wall around Russia's border, this just seems a tit for tat. Also nothing that hasn't happened in the past ten years.

We've put missile defense, as well as SAM through Europe for ages.

Not saying it's a non issue, just not something I'm personally unsettled by.
