Real men don't use words, they act.
We don't need a bunch of homeless squatters coming in this country, we've got enough of those already.

So you think he handled it by sending 6000 troops to the border to do what? Put up tents and string wire?
To deal with, by the Pentagon's estimate, 1,400 people. Unarmed and seeking asylum.
Doesn't seem cost effective to me. But the president said do it, so they got's to do it.

Just like any politician, Trump needed to get a bunch of ignorant people to care enough to go out and vote. That caravan is pretty good talking point. You can bash him for it, but the stakes were high.
Tijuana mayor Juan Manuel Gastelum criticized the recent arrivals, describing some as “bums.” He said a consultation would be held on whether the city, which lies some 17 miles (27 km) across the border from San Diego, California, should have to continue receiving the migrants. In an interview with Milenio television, Gastelum complained that migrants had been hostile to local authorities and that the federal government had failed to control its southern border when the caravan of people began entering Mexico on Oct. 19. “Tijuana is now in a serious predicament,” he said late on Thursday, noting that road blocks could be considered to stop more migrants from getting into the city. “It’s not fair.”

The questioning revealed the four young men were Bangladeshi nationals, according to Laredo Sector Border Patrol officials. The following morning, Laredo South Station agents carrying out line watch operations came upon another group of two suspected illegal immigrants walking near Oleander Street in Laredo. An interview with the subjects revealed the young men to also be Bangladeshi who were smuggled into the U.S., officials reported.
