You do understand I posted the quote from the court case cnn is basing its lawsuit on and the case does not support cnns positon?
The case in question is about denying an application and points out specifically it is not intended for revocation of an approved permit.
It is in no way any kind of slope.
The white house has always controlled who can be in the briefings, where they sit, and who gets called on.

I do understand how from the outside the view could be confusing.
I linked the case, it is in pretty plain english, I encourage you to read it. It does not support cnns case.

Journalists are mostly very serious people who have jobs of asking hard questions and trying to expose the truth.

Trump isn't above the law, he is supposed to be the exemplar of it.

I don't really understand the whole "violation of free press" angle so perhaps someone can clue me in?

Acosta is free to practise his craft as a journalist, is that correct? I believe that is correct but if anyone can correct me I would appreciate that.
