I'm also Team Mattis, so I say Ricardel has to go too!

For those that don't know a lot about Mattis, I say read up on some stories about him. He is truly legendary, and a
born leader. Anyone that would clash with him, and then with the first lady is either dumb, or asking for trouble.

I am reading now that the WSJ story of her being fired is BS. Saying she hasn't been fired.

Wonder if this is just what is supposed to be the next big headline.

It's very unusual for Melania to wade in like this. Looks like Mira Ricardel stepped on the wrong toes.

It's been brewing for a month or so, I read earlier. They tried to diffuse it but it didn't work.

It all blew up after the Africa trip. Ricardel was in charge of authorizing the funding for the trip. Mira tried to apparently save some money and Melania complained to Donald, after she returned, that she was 'short-changing' her and not providing the funding the trip to Africa deserved.

Edit: But her boss and mentor, Bolton, is on a trip to Asia with VP Pence. Doubt she'll be fired in his absence, that would be pretty disrespectful.

Mattis is on his way out, probably to be replaced by Pence's Chief Of Staff...
Which other deplorable grifters will replace Bolton's COS and Pence's too ?

It's the kind of thing that never spills quite so openly into view, however.
With the mid-term elections now in the rear-view mirror, the situation in the Trump White House appears to be coming to a head.

The biggest face-off appears to be between two key power centres, Chief of Staff John Kelly and National Security Advisor John Bolton. Everything else, including the situation with Mrs Trump, is cascading from that.

It's a situation that seems difficult to sustain. These are the small tremors of a staffing earthquake to come.

The Wall Street Journal had earlier on Tuesday reported that Mrs Trump's team believed Mrs Ricardel was behind some of the "negative stories" about Mrs Trump and her staff.

The newspaper also reported that she repeatedly clashed with US Secretary of Defense James Mattis over "staffing decisions and policy differences".

Mrs Trump's statement, released through her spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham, came hours after she issued a separate statement denying reports of clashes with Mr Kelly, her husband's chief of staff.
"Mrs Trump has a very positive relationship with Chief Kelly and there have never been any issues between the two," Mrs Grisham said.

As the news broke, Mr Trump posted a photo on Twitter of Mrs Ricardel accompanying him at a Diwali ceremony.
