Back to facebook after 5 years, whats with the overt sexuality?

So I had been off facebook for about 5 years.

Never used it much before then, and I only went back on to try to let people know about my youtube channel (yes I know facebook sucks and I am dumb for going back on)

The first thing that happened was that I ended up friending a bunch of scammers because I am an idiot.

I asked my wife how I knew all of these people from Morocco and she had to tell me I am a moron and was being scammed.

But the thing that was most surprising to me was how unbelievably sexual some people are on their messages.

Now granted, I know its all in who you are friends with on Facebook, and being a rural hick who use to imbibe libations quite frequently, I have many, how would you put it, crude facebook friends.

But this stuff was shocking to me that people would post for all to see.

I mean really graphic stuff about the peak of sexual acts, and not even designed as a joke. Just straight up disgusting amateur poetry about proper ways to do things to see best results.

And many of the people making these comments are facebook friends with their parents or children!

It is absolutely hilarious to me that someone would post stuff like that for the world to see forever.

Now any prospective employee, future mother in law, or fellow church attendant gets to read these comments for all time.

What interesting characters this world has!

I closed a farcebook account around a year ago but curiosity got the best of me and I tried to open a new account a few weeks ago. During the process they required a picture of me so I uploaded a picture of a turkey. They rejected it straight away and asked for another picture. I next uploaded a picture of Bob Mueller. It took a day or two but that picture was rejected as well and the new account was blocked. Ha! Fluck them if they expect me to upload a photo that can be circulated on the internet and used for their facial recognition software. FLUCK Farcebook!

Well, Grambler, best I recall from a newspaper quote you posted, we are from the same rural county and I don't cotton to being called a 'hick'.

i am on facebook...no pic, only family and friends and otherwise locked down.

You have to have your page open and that is new to me. Never seen any porn.

Maybe let your site spread just through family and friends reposts instead of leaving it open.

I haven't had an account in....pfft, 5 or 6 years now. I do occasionally look up friends who are still too stupid to completely lock down their accounts and leave some posts or pictures out for the world to see.

Yep, suspicions confirmed, they're still self-centered & vapid.

Junking my account was still the best choice. There's a difference between keeping in touch with people, and feeding a beast where all they want is continuous ego stroking & a spotlight. It was very much the latter by the time I got frustrated and dumped FB.

my favorite thing to do on facebook is add 3000 people at random and post the most offensive memes i can find. the whiners make me laugh all night.

Everyone wants to be a ROCKSTAR (celebrity).

And in the modern day you just go tell FACEbook (the CIA etc) your every personal detail, and you get to be a primadonna thesbian etc celebrity too!

And now that everyone (mainly adults been going there I here the kiddies dont) is growing up after these years, its like how all the little mainstreamer girls grow up with Hanna Barbera as their role model, and then she transforms into the posterchild of being a debauched whore, so naturally that's what you become too because that's being famous!

Man, who are you following on FB? I have a FB account that I don't visit much but all I got are former coworkers family, and ppl from Highschool taking about their kids. I never see anything like that on my FB stream. Stop friending nasty ppl and you will not get nasty content. LOL

I closed my facebook account about 4 years ago.My online activity
cost me a relationship with one of my siblings.

The one thing that I miss on facebook is their game Pudding Pop!
