Breaking just now on FOX.
More as info becomes available.
Fractured 3 ribs according to FOX.

Hope it's not serious...but at her age it may be.

ADD:

Ginsburg, 85, hospitalized after fracturing 3 ribs in fall

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court says 85-year-old Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg fractured three ribs in a fall in her office at the court and is in the hospital.

The court says the justice went to George Washington University Hospital in Washington early Thursday after experiencing discomfort overnight. The court says the fall occurred Wednesday evening.
Ginsburg was admitted to the hospital for treatment and observation after tests showed she fractured three ribs.
Ginsburg broke two ribs in a fall in 2012. She has had two prior bouts with cancer and had a stent implanted to open a blocked artery in 2014.

She recently stated she wanted to serve as long as John Paul Stevens (into his 90's) but I think she will be done this year.

Apparently broke 3 ribs she will return to work. However if she is falling and breaking bones she probably won't be able to continue for a long period of time. Odds are pretty good she will have to leave her appointment soon.

Well that's a shame.

*pauses*

Ok, who's going to replace her and who did he/she rape or are they just racist?

(yeah, I know, "too soon" but tough, you know everyone is thinking it and I'm just the one saying it)

You're usually good to go until you've fallen and you can't get up.

TV taught me this.

Someone broke the porcelain doll they wheel into occupy the chair?

Honestly, I do hope she heals. Broken ribs at her age at this time of year are no joke. Rand Paul got pneumonia from his.

If she fell and broke 3 ribs she didn't get up on her own. Hopefully she has a medic alert button.

If she has to leave this means Democrats not taking the senate will cost them. They now have enough seats to put anyone they want in to the chair.

I've recovered from my laughter reading your post.

What if you nominate a woman? That would make it tricky to go after her while saving face.

I know, right?

This news week is becoming ridiculous. The blue wave fizzles in the Senate, and the red wave fizzles in the House; Sessions fired; Jim Acosta gets physical in a press conference; ANTIFA targets Tucker Carlson's family; 13 dead after a mass shooting in Thousand Oaks, CA; now Ginsberg is in the hospital.

At her age, this could be serious. As in, unable to fulfill her duties serious. While I hope not, the possibility is a 5-ton elephant in the room, especially given the Senate gains Trump got this week. That would be an earthshaking shift in the makeup of the Supreme Court, and considering what happened with the Kavanaugh hearings... well, it could get pretty ugly. The anger is already spilling into the streets, and that certainly wouldn't help matters any.

Evident she already has Osteoporosis in the spine. This will probably have spinal complications as well.

Geez, I hope for the best. My brakes locked up on a wet road one time and I hit the backside of a deep ditch, separated the cartilage connecting my ribs to my sternum. About a week later, I found that out the hard way.

I was surprised she didn't resign during Obama's second term.
She has been frail looking for years.

Trump should nominate Ann Coulter or Sarah Palin.

Just to piss everyone off.

But she did get up, and went home, and didn’t go to the hospital until the next morning.

She’s one tough cookie.

I consider myself hard to be pissed off by politics.

Can confirm the above would successfully piss me off, but it would be a conflicting anger.... I would be humored at the same time.

This is actually a good thing. For either side. Depending on how you look at it.
