I have no doubts the Democrats are going to take the house. But there’s no way they’re going to defend 26 Senate seats and flip 2 more .

The end result will be the Democrats running interference from the house and getting nothing done.

Just like we did .

And because of the interference they’ll run. It will guarantee a second term in 2020 just like it did for Bill Clinton and Barack Obama .

Lather, rinse and repeat .

Dude do you really think Democrats are going to take the Senate ?

Anyway

You are you under the illusion that they could actually impeachment and confirm impeachment against Trump.

That takes 67 votes in the Senate oh ye of little faith .

It’s a red herring the media has given the Democrat party so they can have something else to cry over .

Damn. That is completely cynical … ugh … but I can find no fault in that prediction from which to disagree.

Phuc'd into a stalemate … again.

Could not be happier. 2 branches and 2 additional judges. That is a major accomplishment considering Trump had no chance on any metric. They will be caught in a cycle of perpetual moaning for 2 more years.

Cynical ?

You should catch me when I’m sober .

i’m doing the same thing I did in 2016. I’m going to get drunk and if we lose go to bed. But if we win I’m going to celebrate .

Republican or Democrat
Conservative or liberal

At the end of the day I am grateful that I live in a country where we get to overthrow our government every 2 to 4 years.

Ted liu was bragging about their stopping investigation into dems and investigation of all republicans and tax returns. Not so smart is he?

Since congressional investigations cant really do anything but investigate and make referrals to the DOJ, democrats trying to shut the investigations down is a moot point.

The FBI/DOJ wont be affected should Democrats go full on stupid and decide to end investigations, it would also create blow back in 2020 for once again trying to cover up Democrats crimes.

Aside from die hard leftists the overall majority of people do not want impeachment. Retaining control of the Senate though does allow Trump to clean house and get replacements confirmed quickly.

Given the difference in the Democratic party (Democrats and the new leftist democrats aka socialist communist) and more than 50+ democratic representatives going on record to say they will not support Pelosi as speaker is going to cause a headache for them.

Much the same way the Tea party did with Republicans. Democrats dont have term limits for committee chair assignments and use the archaic seniority system. It will be difficult for the 70-80 year old Democrats remain in leadership positions when the new democrats want younger and more in touch party leaders.

Democrats may have won the House however it is not going to turn out the way they think.
