Jamal Khashoggi Strangled Then Dismembered Turks Say

Just breaking now is the news as per the title that Jamal Khashoggi was strangled the second he walked into the Saudi Embassy then his body dismembered. The Turkish Prosecutor has come to this conclusion after intensive examination of the Embassy and has asked for the Saudi's to reveal the location of Mr Khashoggi's body. They are also seeking extradition of 18 Saudi nationals in this connection.

Once again, the story changes and this seriously undermines the claim that he was killed after a "fight" broke out in the Embassy.

This is not really surprising they cut off his fingers while he was still alive they cutted him into pieces. Cruel, unneccessary and just medieval evil.

And yet Trump and the rest of the US keeps sucking the Saudi dillz because there's money to be made selling guns/bombs/missiles.

So what if the Saudi's kill indiscriminately (heck, they can even do it on our own soil, its all good fam)!

I thought they'd already found body parts? Or has that part changed as well?

They didn't find Kashoggi's body yet (as far as I'm aware), but they did find 2 more Saudi nationals bodies in a river here in the US (seemingly murdered by the Saudi's) for trying to seek asylum, which may be what you heard the last day or so.

Apparently there is a recording on the "cloud" of his torture and death.

Yup just read about that. Two Saudi sisters found taped together on the banks of the river. The mother claims she received a phone call from the Saudi Embassy telling her to get out of the USA and that her daughters had filed for asylum. Strange

Scum of the earth(leadership at least), same goes for those here that have sold themselves/their soul for their $$

Good way to ruin a perfectly good rug.
That rug probably really tied the room together and now it's ruined.

It's not just that, as long as the Saudis can manipulate and control global oil production and prices they have a kind of death grip on our economy. As long as that remains (regardless of dependence) whatever administration is in power in the USA will have to kiss up to the house of Saud and look away from Saudi atrocities, human rights violations, war crimes etc. Was the same under Clinton, Bush and Obama.

There was hope Trump would be different in dealing with the kingdom, but it's fading quickly.

I thought with the natural gas boom here in the US that we were actually free of Saudi oil from a necessity perspective (though trade agreements and such still allow us to buy from them). Am I misunderstanding that?

It's interesting how in 6 years we've gone from "why does it matter" in a situation where 4 Americans were killed in an embassy on foreign soil to this kerfluffle over a non-American citizen's murder inside an embassy on foreign soil. Quite an interesting change of attitude in a short time, one would almost believe it to be entirely linked to the partisan politics of who's in charge here at the respective times, ya?

That's not the point. If the Saudis stop trading oil in the US dollar, then the US position as world reserve currency is jeopardized. One foreign journalist's life isn't worth that kind of chaos.

Obama just droned terrorists. Sounds a lot easier.

I think one of the reasons this incident is getting so much publicity is a) purposeful and b) gives the US and UK et al negotiating powers regarding other matters in which SA are implicated such as Yemen with regard to which the US has already requested an end to the hostilities there earlier today. France are already indicating they will consider sanctions stating "France is not dependant on Saudi Arabia as far as our economic status is concerned".

My belief about this incident as its a pre-cursor to something far bigger. There have been other such incidents which have passed by with barely a whisper and yet the killing of Khashoggi is all over the msm, which in itself, is unusual, and the pressure being put on SA to admit to the killing and give details by Turkey is again unusual. Something stinks
