Awesome
all good ones.
I'll admit... my favorite is an oldie - with Chuck Norris of all people - called Silent Rage.
Super corny and super scary! haha
I also love all of the Rob Zombie horror flicks for Halloween!

I’m not a big horror movie fan but I do have what I consider Halloween classics that I watch every year.
It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!
Goonies
E.T.
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Poltergeist
Alien

Devels rejects and Salem one was good. He looks like his main influence was Carpenter. I would like his stuff more if he toned things down and made his film more psycological.

Couple oldies you probably never heard of

Horror Hotel (Old B&W New Englad Witch/Cult film) Cristopher Lee
Race The Devil- Peter Fonda & Warren Oats
The Devil Rides Out - Christopher Lee Occult period film

Exorcist 1&3 are also really good but are more Christmas Movies.

I only watch films for TV entertainment so I see a lot. The last Good, film I watched that actually had some suspense was Dark Skies with Kerri Russel. Great movie. Most,of the new stuff is lousy though. There is an entertaining one on netflix right noe called As Above So Below. Kind of a neat idea.

If you like wacked out stuff like Rob Zombie films check out The Void. It has a lot of Carpenter elements in it along with some of the italian horror films from the 80s.

Most of the movies that y'all have listed are on my list but you've forgotten a classic, "Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte." It is like an Alfred Hitchcock movie, not all gore but a lot of suspense and creepy weird!

I was just watching the newest one - the one in theatres still. An my dang internet decided to crap out on us with 20 minutes left in the movie.
Reset the router 2 times. When it didn’t come back on at 12:45 we came up stairs to bed.I decided to check my iPad, and sure enough the nets running again.
Was gonna resume the movie from here, but getting tired. Will finish it tomorrow.

As for favourite- the first Halloween and second. This new one is really good also.
The mist

Gives me nightmares til this day.

I use to like some Chucky and Pet Cemetary, dunno if I thought it was scary but I do love cheese.

Gremlins was super hilarious.

And who don't like some Freddy Krueger, I remember being in Kindergarten and the girl next to me is drawing Freddy...

Had to keep my eye on Krazy Kathy.

Also I liked the Hellraiser movies, looking back they are probably megacheez.

Childsplay is good but it is a christmas movie.

The first Hellraiser film is really good.

Nightmare on Elm street is great but Freddy Kruger is a straight up Pedo and it is kind of sick that kids think he is cool. I had to explain it to my kids.

Gremlins is Christmas.

I am a Carpenter guy. In the Mouth of Madness is one of my favorites. Carpenter films are really far ahead of their time. Lots of NWO and Illuminati subtle references in the carpenter films.

I forgot a really good one... Creepshow. Thats one of the better Halloween films.

I Still say Halloween 3 though. Very few films get the atmoshere and mood right for Halloween and season of the witch covers the ritual activities really well. The Micheal Myers stuff is just slasher porn with a halloween backdrop.
