This is a thought experiment and I am genuinely interested in that answer for the members of ATS.



This person has a vagina. Which bathroom should they use?

Good ol' Buck Angel. I'm sure conservatives would love to see him going into the women's room. Born with a vagina, still has a vagina. This is what you're asking for.

Whichever makes the person feel more comfortable.

Let 'it' use any bathroom it wishes.....as long as that bathromm happens to be somewhere far away from me and my family.

The issue with the bathroom is people who want to scream and announce it to the world while they go. For decades no one paid attention...until someone demanded attention.

If you look that much like a dude use the mens. Have people never realized bathrooms have "private" stalls? General rule of thumb go by genetalia, if you look that much like the opposite sex you should probably use the one that people would expect you to be in. I say the people who have such an issue determining which bathroom suits them should start a go find me to make all bathrooms private, problem solved.

Look both parties have been dumb on this

The republicans (in North Carolina I think) that insisted on passing that law saying people must use biological bathrooms was dumb

The democrats in insuanyine can use whatever bathroom they want are dumb

This person should use the men’s room because they look like a man

If this person engages in inappropriate behavior in the restroom (no reason to believe they would) they should be charged

But his (or her whatever I don’t care about the lingo) situation is obviously pretty unique and should not justify all of the crazy bathroom situations we have seen

How about change rooms at the pool. Men normally change in an open area while women get stalls in a lot of cases.

This kind of changes the dynamic a little bit. What kind of questions would be asked by a male child seeing that ftm trans changing in front of them?

Never use public facilities if you can help it.

Men are nasty.

Never been in ladies so I can't speak to it.

But,

NEVER use public restrooms until they invent self cleaning ones.

So one sock puppet posts a pic of a guy and the rest chime in to support the strangeness of him having a vag.

Until he and she actually surgical change those appendages...they should be classified male and female as was determined the day they were born. There are many folks in this world who do look more masculine or feminine, yet they do not believe they are the opposite gender. They enter the bathrooms designated for what they have between their legs.

Perhaps, instead a sihoulettes on bathrooms depicting women in dress and man in pants...we can just simply insert an O and I between the legs of a stick figure?

Edit add: my attempt at sarcasm is off today after reading my post. Throughout history...folks have simply entered into the restrooms which would attract the least notice. It is only because of politics that have made this an issue.

The OP wants a knee-jerk reaction based on anger.

You shouldn't feel anger. You should feel compassion for the mentally deranged. The OP provided us with examples of people who need medication and counseling and aren't getting it.
