Caravan's aren't as they appear - much larger & seem to be getting logistical assistance

Every time I see reports about these caravans starting in Central America the media always says that they are walking to the US border. Well that is total BS. There is no way that these people are walking that distance in the amount of time that is being shown. From southern Mexico to Tijuana is about 2,200 miles and to Juarez it is about 1,700 miles, but most all go to Tijuana b/c it is supposedly easier to get through or overwhelm the border guards (more media coverage as well probably, as well as liberal state).

Many of these "caravans" look to be doing the journey in about 20-25 days, some even less. If it takes 25 days then they are averaging 68 or 88 miles per day (Juarez / Tijuana). the Appalachian trail is 2,200 miles (same as to Tijuana) and even the BEST athlete hikers can barely do 50 days (top athletes in world), an average person couldn't even come close to completing the trek (AVERAGE completion is 165 days!). These people also are not equipped for any long hike/march. Most look as if they are going to the pool for a day with their day-bag back pack. Anyone who has ever gone on a long hike would know the size of a bag needed even with stores, laundry, etc along the way. Now factor in a parent carrying supplies for 1-3 children? Come on. Who you trying to fool.

These people are also not prepared for the extremes of temp as it gets cold at night in the desert/high desert of Mexico and it can be extremely dry. Half these people in the video don't even have bags and none of them are larger than the average grade school backpack. I did see a number of "hello-kitty" packs - just what I would take on a 2,200 mile trek. Some have paper shopping bags or "satchels" Take a look at this video and try to figure out what provisions these people have for such a journey?

Do you see any of this in the video below? (things anyone would need on long hike) Extra clothing, Food, water, first aid, sleep foam/mattress, blankets, other shoes, hats (sun is hot even this time of year in desert/Mexico), rain gear, etc. Also be mad at the media for lying about the size of this group, it is much more than 3,000 people. From the different video's I've seen I would guess closer to 9-15,000 - I've seen packed sports arena's let out that were larger than this and the size of the people wasn't as big as this. In the clip below they show 1 minute, but that rush could have lasted 3, 5, 10+ minutes for all we know. watch it and look to see if you can find ANYONE carrying the things they might need for such a long trip.

I'm getting conflicting dates on when these past caravan's have begun and ended, much of the news stories about them have been almost impossible to find as search results for the current issue seem to be the predominate links even when trying to narrow it down by dates. IIRC there have been 2-3 other caravans, a similar one by Hondurans earlier this year and then another one in April/May 2017 of a collection of countries and then there was a LGBTQ caravan at one point, but the search god isn't being too forthcoming.

I'm wondering if they don't have outside support which shuttles them from city to city so they can make their appearance (protest) in the cities, garner sympathy & media attention, and then they are shuttled to the next city to repeat. Where are all these people sleeping and do they leave the area trashed like the Syrian refugees did?

There is no way these people could pay/afford supplies for a "caravan march" of that distance and not be able to pay for a plane ticket. The cost for food alone would be more than a ticket (if you use REAL numbers for # of days). Are they doing this for political reasons? who is backing them? Are they doing it this way because the normal process allows time to check their backgrounds (criminal affiliations & arrests etc) and they would be barred entry?

This issue is much bigger than just people looking for a better life and we need to find out who is offering support/aid and who is planning this. You would think if the gangs were so violent they would have stopped all these "victims" b/c once they are gone, they can't be exploited anymore. Wouldn't those left behind then be targets by the gangs as well? I can almost guarantee that these invasion swarms would not have happened had Trump not won. I think this is a way for the Democrats (working with members of Clinton foundation & their sponsors) to try to garner support and make Trump look bad.

This is a well funded, well organised mob with the sole objective of arriving at the US border in time to influence an ejection result.
It's being organised by Democrats, funded by Democrats. Obama is the architect of it.

Exactly Its basically the left's desperation hail mary pass for the mid terms, and deflection for their recent snafu's. Thing is the border agency is operating under basically the same procedures that the Obama administration used. Most intelligent people understand that, but thats not the audience this manufactured spectacle is for.

Man if you only knew what someone smelled like after being on the trail for a week or two (or more) w/o a shower or washing, it's basically that smell of dirty hobo's/homeless people. It's the kind of smell you don't try to wash out but you burn the clothing far away from any habitable structure. The smell is very difficult to explain but once you smell it you won't EVER forget it.

Many of the cabins along the trails have the lingering scent in them even if they have been aired out all winter. It is like it permeates and sticks to everything it touches.

I have been asking the same questions as well. The whole thing seems very fishy. But rather than believing that it is the Democrats who are packing this questionable flood of people, it seems more likely that we look at who will gain advantage of this horde of people at this particular time. It is the Republicans. It is the conservatives. The backlash against immigrants is rising and this feeds right into that narrative. I think if we were to really Look into it this is the Republican October surprise. Scare the holy be Jesus out of everybody to vote against the hordes and the mobs that are supposed to come and get us all be there hordes of mobs from below the border or hords and mobs who already live here it’s all a scare tactic to vote Republican

It's an interesting point. I hadn't considered it, but it could be. I'd still go with Democrat organisation, but would not dismiss your point. I think where we can definitely agree is that it is organised and timed for the election.

I agree as well with the timing and can see both sides benefiting from it depending on how the admin handles it.

Yeah I would agree with you, but part me thinks if true, how much power do these political parties wield ?

Like misplacing that many people and causing so much chaos in a neighbouring country... for votes !

I'll give you all an easy test. Look at the video and tell me how many women and children you can see? They are mainly males from 16 to 40 years old with a couple of women and children threw in. This was filmed from afar.
Same as in the EU, when filmed close up or stills the women and children are pushed to the front. But film them when they don't know they're being filmed and the true demographics sticks out, they are mainly young males.
Now the bit you will not like. Say 5000 young males get into the US, they haven't bought any females with them so? Raging hormones? Just who will they use? We've been seeing it in the EU for sometime, the rape statistics have shot through the roof.
Now you tell me that's not gonna become the problem. It aint doom porn, it happens.

It doesn't add up for sure. Think of the money just required to do such a trek. Transportation, food and shelter cost each day/night. If they had money, people would be robbing them. They are for sure getting immense help from NGO's. Somebody is funding this and our great media is doing such a good job investigating that.

It's like the NGO ferry ships off of Libya, it's a scam. If NGO'S were truly worried about the poor people in Guatemala, shouldn't they be in Guatemala trying to make it better instead of spending all their efforts on a relatively few Guatemalans in the caravan?

I guess Guatemala will be losing any financial aid from the US if Trump follow throughs with his threat. If he does, expect Guatemala to kick these NGO'S out.

It could be orchestrated by the same players who have been sowing division actively for the past 8 ? years or so, neither "left" nor "right" by our standards but people who hate America because it is sovereign and strong, hates everything we stand (stood?) for.

I agree with you OP and other posters that something is not right here.

When I moved back to stay with my parents in a country house they had just bought (no bath, shower or even beds), we just had to sleep on old sofas. Walking along country roads with trees, bushes and greenery, and clothes get greasy just from pollen, never mind sweat. Only a couple of days is enough to make clothes feel like they've been used to clean out a diesel engine. Grease stains appear from eating food no matter how careful I was. Doing regular chores like taking in firewood, lighting the kindling in a firebox, opening jars and packets of food would get me splattered.
Clothes would get covered in dust and pollen.

Here we have crowd of over a hundred people and everyone looks like they are going to a high class party.

It’s definitely not organic and you can be sure it has some big money behind it like Soros and the rest of the anti-American Democrats. I don’t understand what they think they are going to gain with this invasion. Average Americans see this as a threat to sovreignty and to their pocketbook. These aren’t doctors and engineers. These are not the people we want to bring into our country.

I've said it since the very first one (or even before), violations of our border are an attack on our sovereignty - therefore an attack on our nation (since we are sovereign, and a nation... not a global community/global friendly state)

This should (and is, I believe) being treated as an extremely severe and grave national security military emergency. The 82nd Airborne should go in and disrupt/sabotage/destroy these Caravans before they can reach our borders. Our forces could flatten tires, punch holes in gas tanks, destroy vehicles, confiscate food and other provisions, spray them with water in ice cold weather, blast them with music 24/7 or even forcefully relocate them back to the country they belong in (let them keep making a thousand mile trip only to be returned and have to start fresh)

Lower impact options include: Buying all the food/fuel/provisions along their route (either planned or probable route). Freezing the financial assets of any person involved (either an invader, a foreign conspirator, or a domestic conspirator)

If Mexico or any other nation can't protect the border properly, then we need to follow Israel's lead and take control of their border to ensure our national security.

What we're doing now isn't working. We have MILLIONS of illegal aliens within our borders, many of which are entirely unknown to the US government and its leadership. Absolutely untenable. Completely unacceptable.

Spot on

They don't believe in those high minded righteous ideals any more, but we sure do. Our side is the most morally superior and generally "right" political movement to exist.. maybe ever.

We will prevail. Our Constitution will forever and always remain the untouchable high law of the land. The anti-Constitutional anti-American leftists have already lost - but this midterm election will prove it to them once their "blue wave" fizzles out.

Our government needs to stop being so "PC" and start taking domestic enemies just as serious as foreign ones.

Tijuana borders San Diego California. It is a huge border crossing area and no it is not easier to overwhelm the border police there. The place is swimming with security on both sides. Its in the middle of a city environment not out in the boon docks . Tijuana border photos www.google.com... 7j1j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
