I've always liked remote control things, wether a car, a boat or a plane. Granted never owned a plane but enjoy watching video of them and the rc helos too.

However I had no idea they had jets going this damn fast!

Model: RC Speeder "Inferno" full GFK
Engine: Turbine Behotec 180
Fuel: Kerosene
Take-off weight: 7,5Kg
Max Speed: 750 Kmh / 466 Mph

World Record Actually

Guinness World Records

The fastest remote-controlled jet-powered model aircraft (RC) is 749.221 km/h (465.544 mph) and was achieved by Niels Herbrich (Germany), in Rothenburg, Germany, on 23 August 2017.

Niels Herbrich broke his own record with a difference of 42.251 km/h.

I've flown RC since the early 80s, and have probably flown 40 or 50 different models.

That thing is in sight for what, 5 seconds at a time?

I don't even see how he can even tell which way the thing is pointed.

Pretty amazing.
