Ford's attorney's have chosen a smaller room too. No space for a circus of screaming nutjobs.

I don’t think they would’ve made this move if Murkowski and Collins weren’t on board.

I think the only person we need to watch is Flake. He’s got a ax to grind, he hates Trump and he’s leaving office.

He could screw it all up tomorrow morning at the Senate judiciary committee’s vote.

1) as you stated not a law or even a policy, it was Creepy Uncle Joe's "belief and opinion

2) he is talking about a presidential election year, not mid terms

No show liar...

The Judge will take his seat.

I said it will backfire if the Republicans testicles drop.

Only a few people believe accusations equal guilty.

America rejects 36 year old accusations with zero proof.

If the GOP has the votes, Schumer will probably clear those red state Dems to vote as necessary to protect their seats. So yeah, I think there's a decent chance of two or three crossovers from the Dems, especially if Ford doesn't show for the Thursday hearing.

Thursday is going to be a fun day.
Between Ford showing/not showing, that other lady showing/not showing, the porn attorney's new witness showing/not showing.

My only concern, is how much lower can the Dems go after this. They have already made threats, rallied for violence. I am concerned about what they will call for next, if he gets in.
People are just way too crazy right now.

Hey, you do realize the Biden rule was talking about a lame duck POTUS (ie presidents last year in office) completely different thing than midterm elections

Hey do you realize the (not really a rule) 'Biden Rule' was to push nomination hearings until after the election, not indefinitely?

Agree, the libs are pushing this to the point where someone is going to get hurt and bad things are going to happen. I thought they were going to physically assault Ted Cruz and his wife last night

I think Flake is unlikely to bail. He's leaving the Senate, but I doubt he's leaving politics. If he ever wants to run for anything again...and he's made noise about a presidential run... he can't be the guy that sinks a conservative Supreme Court. Conservatives will never back him again if he does.

Strange that the (not really a rule) 'Biden Rule' cited by McConnell as justification for blocking Merrick Garland's nomination during an election year doesn't apply to a Republican nominee during an election year.

What law or Constitution Clause did ol' Joe cite?

in 1992 Joe Biden Says Senate Should Not Hold Hearing Election Year SCOTUS Nominee

Ask Mitch McConnell, he's the one that claimed that as his justification.

Also McConnell conveniently forgot that Biden wanted any potential hearing delayed until after the election - i.e., immediately after the election a hearing should be held - not delayed forever.

OK and that is exactly what the republicans did. Hillary lost and after the election they are having hearings on the WINNERS nominee. To quote your messiah obama "elections have consequences" and to quote him again " if you don't like it quit whining and win elections"

Can’t use facts here...not allowed and generally ignored...

McConnell certainly didn't use facts.

'Biden Rule' was never agreed to by the Senate, and was never intended to delay a nomination permanently, but McConnell cited it and used it to do just that.

In the end if the republicans are OK with this pushing past the midterm and then dragged to the next President I guess maybe conservatives should not be so upset since their reps see that as a good thing. People need to remember that Obama stacked every other court with liberals filling up 1/3 of all federal judges with the like, if the republicans want the SC to go the same way then they might as well end any charades now.

Stop with the lies.

Obama is no messiah. The 'winner' didn't take office until late January.

The intention of Biden's proposal was to hold hearings on any potential SCOTUS candidate after the election, not after the winner assumes office.

Not me nor any other Constitutional loving American! If the Progs want to burn this country to the ground because they didn't get a trophy? Bring it!

To be honest, we have been very patient watching them throw their violent tantrums. They need to realize there WILL be a point they will be held accountable!

So by Biden's and your own words you are ok with pushing it past an election? That is what happened. Do you really expect and opposing party to nominate his predecessors nominee?
