World Audibly Laughs After Trump Claims His Administration Among Most Accomplished in US History During UN Address
Here's some proof that the world thinks of Trump as a joke.

Just seconds into his address to the United Nation General Assembly on Tuesday morning, laughter broke out among the venerated crowd of global leaders and diplomats when President Donald Trump tried to claim that his administration has been among the most successful in the nearly 250 years since the U.S. was founded.

"In less than two years, my administration has accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country," Trump declared before audible laughter broke out in the hall.

Yeah. That's a pretty laughable statement.

"Didn't expect that reaction," Trump said with a smile, "But that's okay."

Really you didn't expect to be laughed at for saying something stupid and uninformed? Maybe don't surround yourself with "Yes" men all the time then.

How is the economy not great? Can you go into detail on these stupid and uninformed comments please?

Why should I do that? The economy doing well doesn't mean his administration is among the most accomplished Presidents in US history. His comment is laughably untrue. He has one signature legislative achievement (which is wildly unpopular), he can't get his key campaign promise filled to build a wall, he can't corral his party to pass anything, and he has a self-created humanitarian crisis on his hands at the border. Those are just off the top of my head too without even getting into his ethics and morality issues.

His administration is more widely viewed as an ongoing joke or disaster depending on who you ask.

That was quite a nervous laugh by the others - no matter which US administration is in power - you gotta appease the US or they'll stop paying dues to the UN or you'll be next on the list of "rogue nation" status.

Trump knows everything he says is BS, it’s the same guy who would add floors onto his buildings when he talked about them. Even though you could count the number of floors from the street...

The problem for me is that his followers fight and argue that what he says is true, even while Trump himself doesn’t believe any of it. To him it’s just marketing, but a lot of people have invested so much personally into the idea of him that they convince themselves he’s telling the truth.

And that’s a big problem when it’s the president of the United States we’re talking about and not just some guy trying to sell a condo.

We live in the really real world where the US economy is doing fantastic, unemployment is at historic lows, we get to keep more of the money we earn, the Govt is slashing federal jobs by the 10s of thousands....

Since the UN was his audience this is not at all surprising and to me I think, RIGHT ON TRUMP, right on.

I have NEVER understood the leftist love for the UN. Never have, never will. At best they support all the worst things humanity does. And they have every since they were brought into existence.
