Trump Administration cuts into Cancer research to cover migrant detention costs??

It's a total of $228 million he's cut out of other programs including funding for Cancer Research:

Yahoo News reported that in order to continue detaining more than 13,000 children currently in the custody of the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar is proposing that up to $266 million be taken from other government health programs.

In a letter to Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.), Azar outlined a plan in which more than $16 million would be taken from Head Start, $5.7 million would be diverted from programs to care for uninsured HIV/AIDS patients, and millions would also be reallocated from cancer research programs, government-run women’s shelters, and mental health facilities.

Heck I'm not so much concerned about the fact he's still keeping these kids in detention as much as on the fact he couldn't source funding elsewhere... Jesus Christ..... $1 trillion in tax cuts to the wealthy elite, $700+ billion to the military industrial complex and that's set to increase dramatically over the next few years and yet he has to cut into these important programs? He couldn't source that anywhere else?

My wife cured her own cancer by a method that has been available since the 1940's, so you believe what you want. That is, until you get it too and start really looking into it. (We are getting to the point that cancer effects 1 out of 2 Americans). The long term mortality rate for her cancer is 100%. She's still here and cancer free. I believe your precious doctors call her an "anomaly".

As far as the funding thing, you should have pointed out that the funds were available for other things until he had to stop the screaming from the left on detainees.

So yes, the left is to blame for taking away from cancer research.

$3.8 million out of $6 billion from HIV programs as part of a bigger $16.7 million from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

$9.8 million out of $986 billion from Medicare and Medicaid program operations.

$2.2 million out of $57.5 billion from maternal and child health programs.

$5.8 million from out of $2.3 billion the Ryan White HIV/AIDS program.

$13.3 million out of $5.7 billion from the National Cancer Institute.

And $87.3 million out of $37 billion overall from the National Institutes of Health.

As we can see all these programs got plenty of money left to operate like normal, but the leftist media makes it seems Trump drained all their money.

Put the blame where it should be, the illegal immigrants flooding our border. If democrats didn't continue to actively promote and support illegal immigration, and rather confirm and support the laws on the books,the influx would lessen and the financial burden to process everything would lessen.

And yet, if they were simply deported without detention we wouldn't have these costs. Why detain them for a single moment? Send them back over the border they illegally crossed.

Every governement program needs to spend more? I want most programs cut. Anything with HIV should be cut to zero. We know how one gets it, it’s 100 percent preventable.
