SERIOUSLY??? I can not stand her and her convulsions and crappy voice. And why the hell is she on American Idol? She is here on a short term performer visa just to be on the show. She has already done britains got talent. It is kind of funny, America's Got Talent with judges from Canada, England, and Germany

None of the judges are American. Simon Cowell isn't an American, neither is Mel B, Howie Mandell is Canadian, Heidi Klum was born in Germany and raised in Sweden.

I suppose you never were much of a fan of James Brown or Janice Joplin either.

That is a stupid statement, talent is purely subjective, what one man sees as talent another sees as a child with epileptic seizures convulsing about the stage with aa, at best, so-so voice. But seriously talent is strictly subjective.

This girl is horribly out of tune in every song and tries WAY to hard to sound like the original singer instead of using her own voice. I don't understand why she's popular. Is it because she's singing songs from another era? If that's the only requirement sign me up. I'll take my pay in hundreds please.

I see "channeling" not imitation. Her whole body and soul takes on the music 100%.

Seriously weird song choices for any kid. Even if the ability is there I don't buy it as a performance because I know no teenager is picking those songs there.

Reminds me of how back in the 90's metal screamer bands would have 10 year old screamers just for the novelty.

I had my wife and daughter listen to her and both of them didn't like what they heard.

So I will repeat my earlier post, meh..

Really I have heard better kids singing.

We will agree to disagree then. Channeling sure I would agree with that. But her voice does not honor the songs whatsoever. She pronounces the words so horrible in man in the mirror I can't get her murderous version out of my mind. It IS that bad. I've watched MANY young performers on these shows do a wonderful job. Can't really see how the heck this girl made it past a single audition. She feels the soul of the music yes I see that. But she cannot sing a lick, sorry.
