Large waterspout and lightning off Feodosia, Crimea peninsula, Russia. Sept 6th 2018.

This is just breath taking.
I wanted to put it in the "Fragile Earth" forum but could not find enough information on it.
I have seen two water spouts moving down a lake in SC back in the early 90's. It is just a feeling that can not be explained.
Kinda like the feeling when I look at this picature.
Just AWSOME.

That is an amazing photo. I've seen some waterspouts, living a stone's throw away from Lake Erie but I've never seen one like that. And the lightening nearby... Gorgeous.

Thank you for sharing!

Great question! I’m not sure on that one but it better be epic! Not like when Metallica got showed up by Godsmack opening for them in San Jose.

With a stage show like that it could only be Rammstein.

Us, and many other, fragile beings exist on the same planet where these powerful forces can occur seemingly at random. We coexist with these immense forces which are occassionally unleashed right in our midst. That is pretty cool...

I wonder if its even real. It absolutely dwarfed the shipping cranes to the left. That is a lot of water being moved around that's for sure.

I thought the same thing, I've seen lots of spouts over the lake, nothing that huge though!

If it is a fake, it doesn't make the picture any less gorgeous, imho.
